<![CDATA[The purpose of this research was to improve the skills of writing short stories by using Pop Up for the fourth grade students of SDN 9 Bone, Bone Bolango Regency. The subjects of this study were the fourth grade students, totaling 28 students with 16 male students and 12 female students. The method used is classroom action research by implementing the action in the form of a cycle. In the implementation of the first cycle there were 3 meetings and the second cycle there were 3 meetings. This research shows that the short story writing skills of students in class IV SDN 9 Bone are still low at the time of initial observation with a percentage level of 35.71% of the total number of students, namely 28 students. Therefore, researchers took action using Pop up media in improving short story writing skills, from the results of research conducted on students' short story writing skills, there was an increase of 10% in the first cycle of the first meeting with a percentage of 45.63% of the first cycle of the second meeting. with a percentage of 53.57% and in the first cycle of the third meeting it reached a percentage of 61.50%. While in the second cycle of the first meeting the increase in learning outcomes reached 71.42%, at the second meeting the percentage was 77.77% and in the second cycle the third meeting increased to 89.28%.Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerita pendek dengan menggunakan Pop Up pada peserta didik di kelas IV SDN 9 Bone Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas IV yang berjumlah 28 peserta didik dengan jumlah peserta didik 16 orang peserta didik laki-laki dan 12 orang peserta didik perempuan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan pelaksanakan tindakan dalam bentuk siklus. Pada pelaksanaan siklus I terdapat 3 kali pertemuan dan siklus II terdapat 3 kali pertemuan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan menulis cerita pendek peserta didik di kelas IV SDN 9 Bone masih rendahnya pada saat observasi awal dengan taraf persentase 35,71% dari jumlah keseluruhan peserta didik yaitu 28 peserta didik. Oleh karena itu peneliti melakukan tindakan menggunakan media Pop up dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerita pendek, dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada keterampilan menulis cerita pendek peserta didik, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 10% pada siklus I pertemuan pertama dengan presentase 45,63% siklus I pertemuan kedua dengan presentase 53,57% dan pada siklus I pertemuan ketiga mencapai presentase 61,50%. Sedangkan pada siklus II pertemuan pertama peningkatan hasil belajar mencapai 71,42%, pada pertemuan kedua dengan presentase 77,77% dan pada siklus II pertemuan ketiga mengalami peningkatan hingga 89,28%.]]>
