Abstract

This outreach program aims to improve the understanding and skills of SMK NU 01 Belik students in office administration, particularly in facing the increasingly competitive demands of the workplace. The outreach program is motivated by the importance of mastering office administration knowledge as a basic competency for vocational school graduates in business and management. The program's implementation method involves interactively delivering material to students on office administration in the workplace, thus better preparing them to enter the workforce in various industries. The results of the program indicate an increase in student knowledge and motivation in understanding modern office administration concepts and practices, such as archives management, business communication, and digital document management. This program also strengthens the relationship between universities and vocational high schools in an effort to support the improvement of human resources who are work-ready and adaptable to developments in administrative technology.

Abstract

Pemborosan (waste) dalam pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi dapat menurunkan efisiensi dan kinerja proyek. Lean Construction merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang diterapkan untuk mengurangi aktivitas yang tidak memberikan nilai tambah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh faktor waste Lean Construction, yaitu defects, waiting, unnecessary inventory, dan unnecessary motion, terhadap kinerja proyek konstruksi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain explanatory research pada sembilan proyek konstruksi bangunan rumah tinggal yang dikerjakan oleh CV Perwira Nusa Abadi di Kabupaten Purbalingga selama periode 2025–2026 dengan melibatkan 54 responden. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) melalui perangkat lunak SmartPLS 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model memiliki nilai R² sebesar 0,875. Variabel defects, unnecessary inventory, dan unnecessary motion berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja proyek konstruksi, sedangkan waiting tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Variabel unnecessary motion merupakan faktor yang paling dominan memengaruhi kinerja proyek konstruksi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar bagi kontraktor dalam menentukan prioritas pengendalian waste untuk meningkatkan kinerja proyek konstruksi.

Abstract

The development of digital technology and changes in workplace practices require vocational teachers to continuously strengthen their competencies to ensure the relevance of learning to industry needs. This community service activity aimed to strengthen the competencies of vocational high school teachers who mentor the Student Competency Competition (LKS) in Office Management and Business Services (MPLB). The activity was conducted through a needs-based Office Administration Workshop involving 30 LKS mentor teachers from vocational schools in Central Java at Politeknik Madyathika Purbalingga. An educational-participatory approach was applied through material presentation, discussion, practice, and evaluation. The activity provided opportunities for participants to strengthen their understanding of modern office administration, exchange experiences, and relate administrative competencies to workplace demands. The workshop is expected to support teachers in improving the relevance of MPLB learning and LKS mentoring to technological developments and current industry competency requirements.
