Abstract

This study aims to describe the representation of vocabulary and sentences in early childhood with speech delay at SLB Negeri 1 Makassar. The type of research used is qualitative research with a focus on language representation. The study used a qualitative method with a descriptive design, involving three main subjects aged 6 years as data sources. Data was collected through observation and documentation of children's speech, then analyzed descriptively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn, with the validity of the data tested using triangulation of sources, methods, and theories. The results of the study showed that children were able to use various basic vocabulary including nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, numeralia, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections, although pronunciation was still often inaccurate. Children also produce simple sentences in the form of declaratives, interrogatives, and imperatives that function in daily communication. This study confirms that children with speech delay can still convey meaning through simple language structures, and the support of the learning environment, teachers, and parents plays an important role in facilitating their language development. These findings are expected to be a reference in the development of language stimulation strategies for children with special needs.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of Wattpad media in improving the ability to write short stories in grade XI students of SMA Negeri 14 Gowa. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a mixed approach (qualitative and quantitative). The research subjects consisted of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 14 Gowa. The study was conducted in two action cycles that included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation, testing, and documentation techniques, then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the study showed an increase in students' learning completeness in writing short stories through the application of Wattpad media. In cycle I, the learning completeness level reached 28.57%, while in cycle II it increased to 90.48% with a Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) of 75. This increase was seen in the aspects of short story structure, creativity in story development, and better use of language. The application of Wattpad media also increased students' interest and motivation in writing, because it provided a more interactive and enjoyable learning experience. Thus, Wattpad is an effective medium for learning to write short stories and contributes to strengthening students' digital literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of differentiated learning in Indonesian subjects in class X UPT SMAN 1 Pinrang, South Sulawesi. The specific purpose of this research is to know, analyze, and describe the implementation of differentiated learning from the aspects of content, process, and products in Indonesian subjects. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data was obtained through interviews with two Indonesian teachers in class X, observation of learning in class, and analysis of learning tool documents. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the implementation of content-differentiated learning is carried out by adjusting students' learning styles and learning media used in the classroom. Process differentiation is applied through project-based learning methods, class discussions, and lectures. Student-generated products include scrapbooks, powerpoints, posters, and hands-on practice. This study concludes that the implementation of differentiated learning in class X UPT SMAN 1 Pinrang has succeeded in creating an effective and meaningful learning experience for students.
