Abstract

The assistance program for obtaining a Business Identification Number (NIB) was conducted to assist Rera Nastar, a pastry business owned by Mrs. Ulfatun Ni'mah, which has been established since 2019 in Ental Sewu Village, Buduran, Sidoarjo. This assistance was motivated by the low understanding of MSMEs regarding the function and procedures for submitting a NIB through the OSS-RBA system. The assistance process was carried out through several stages, namely planning, preparation, and direct registration practice. However, there were obstacles when filling out the AMDAL (Environmental Impact Assessment) which could not be submitted, so the registration had to be repeated several times. After conducting several evaluations and data adjustments, Rera Nastar's NIB was finally successfully issued on November 27, 2025. The assistance results showed an increase in business understanding, as well as the successful completion of the legality process. This activity provided significant benefits in raising awareness about business legality and preparing MSMEs to officially develop their businesses.

Abstract

Financial management plays a crucial role in maintaining the stability and effectiveness of company operations, particularly in the financial sector, which demands careful fund management. This study aims to analyze the effect of financial management on company performance in the financial sector. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, this study involved 30 respondents consisting of students and MSME practitioners with relevant knowledge in finance and business management. Primary data collection was conducted using a Likert scale questionnaire, which was then processed through simple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 25 software. The findings indicated that financial management exerts a positive and significant influence on firm performance, evidenced by a calculated t value of 3.742 > t table value of 1.697, and a significance level of 0.001, < 0.05. This finding confirms that the application of good financial management principles can improve the efficiency, liquidity stability, and profitability of companies in the financial sector.
