The population in this study was 101 students, with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire with a Likert scale to measure time management variables and learning motivation. The results of the study showed that students' time management and learning motivation were in the medium category. The research instrument used was qualified to be valid and reliable, with a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.822 for time management and 0.86 for learning motivation. In addition, the research data is also distributed normally based on the normality test. The results of Pearson's product moment correlation test showed a correlation coefficient value of 0.741 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. This shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between time management and learning motivation, with a strong level of relationship. Thus, the better the time management that students have, the higher their motivation to learn.

Abstract

This study aims to reduce the increasing rate of early marriage in Ciamis Regency. The research employs a qualitative method, conducting interviews at the Ciamis Religious Court with prospective brides and grooms applying for marriage dispensations. Data analysis was performed to understand the mental readiness of adolescents regarding early marriage. The findings indicate that the mental readiness of marriage dispensation applicants is at a threshold between ready and unready. Many young couples are still trapped in the adolescent developmental phase, where the need for immediate gratification outweighs long-term planning. This is evident from the reasons for marriage, which are often triggered by economic factors, education, and unintended pregnancy, without due consideration for the mental and emotional preparedness required to face domestic conflicts. These findings support the understanding that marriage is not merely about the solemnization of the ijab Kabul but necessitates comprehensive mental and financial readiness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of spiritual guidance in improving the emotional stability of people with mental disorders (ODGJ) at the Bina Laras Sakurjaya Service Unit in Sumedang. The research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The informants included a spiritual counselor, client assistants, the head of the social service center, and administrative staff. The findings reveal that spiritual guidance is implemented in a structured manner through activities such as congregational prayer, dhikr, Qur’an recitation, sholawat, yasinan, and manaqib, complemented by individual and group counseling sessions. These activities are carried out using a persuasive approach adjusted to the psychological conditions of the clients. The emotional condition of clients, which was initially unstable, gradually improved after participating in regular spiritual activities, as indicated by increased calmness, better emotional control, and improved social interaction. Spiritual guidance serves as a non-medical therapeutic approach that provides inner peace, reduces anxiety, and helps clients develop meaning in life and hope. Therefore, spiritual guidance plays a significant role in supporting the rehabilitation process and enhancing the emotional stability of individuals with mental disorders.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-care and juvenile delinquency among volleyball students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 5 Ciamis in the 2025/2026 academic year. This study used a quantitative descriptive method with a Likert-scale questionnaire administered to 66 respondents. The results showed that students' self-care levels were in the moderate (57.58%) and high (42.42%) categories, while their juvenile delinquency levels were in the moderate (65.15%) and high (34.85%) categories. Normality tests showed that both variables were normally distributed, and linearity tests indicated a linear relationship with a significance value of 0.0017. Correlation tests showed a coefficient of 0.3778, which is in the low to moderate category. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between self-care and juvenile delinquency, with good self-care tending to be associated with lower levels of juvenile delinquency, although the relationship is not very strong.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of interest and talent guidance in helping to increase the motivation of children of Beneficiary Families (KPM) of the Family Hope Program (PKH) to continue their education to university. This study used a qualitative, descriptive approach. The subjects were PKH beneficiary families (KPM PKH). Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that before being provided with guidance, some PKH beneficiary children did not have a strong interest in continuing their education to university. This was indicated by some children preferring to work directly and experiencing confusion in determining further education options. This condition was influenced by a lack of information about universities, low motivation to continue their education, and economic factors. After the provision of interest and talent guidance, children began to show an increased understanding of their potential and an emerging interest in planning for higher education. Thus, interest and talent guidance plays a crucial role in helping PKH beneficiary children recognize their potential and increase their motivation to continue their education to university.

Abstract

Adolescence is a developmental phase vulnerable to academic pressure and deviant behavior, making burnout and juvenile delinquency a crucial issue in education. This study aims to analyze the relationship between burnout and juvenile delinquency among 12th-grade students at MAN 5 Ciamis in the 2025/2026 academic year. Theoretical studies define burnout as a state of emotional exhaustion, frustration, and decreased motivation due to learning demands, while juvenile delinquency is understood as behavior that violates rules, discipline, and social norms. The study used a quantitative approach with correlational methods and descriptive techniques. Data were collected through a burnout and juvenile delinquency questionnaire, then analyzed statistically. The results showed that student burnout levels were low, while juvenile delinquency was in the moderate category. The correlation test yielded a value of 0.587 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05, indicating a fairly strong positive relationship. This implies that schools need to strengthen guidance and psychological support services to prevent juvenile delinquency.
