Abstract

Background: Tobacco is a global problem, in which at least 5 million people die from diseases caused by the consumption of tobacco products such as cigarettes each year, such as cervical cancer, heart disease, gastric ulcers, tuberculosis, kidney failure, pancreas, leukemia, pneumonia, gum and mouth disease as well as lung cancer. This study aims to estimate the magnitude of the effect of School based intervention on cigarette consumption based on the results of a number of previous studies.Subjects and Method: This research is a systematic study and meta-analysis, with PICO as follows Population = junior high school and high school students, Intervention = School based intervention. Comparison = No School based intervention. Outcome = cigarette consumption. The articles used in this study were obtained from several databases including PubMed, ScienceDirect and Google Scholar. This article article was collected for 2 months. The keywords for searching articles are as follows: "School-based intervention" AND tobacco OR smoke OR cigarette AND RCT OR "Randomized Controlled Trial". The articles included in this study are full text articles with a randomized controlled trial study design. Articles were collected using PRISMA flow diagrams. They were analyzed using the Review Manager 5.3 application. Results: A total of 11 articles reviewed in this meta-analysis study originated from the United States, Sweden, California, Brazil, Germany, Ireland, China, Australia and Indonesia. Studies show that School based intervention has no significant effect on cigarette consumption (Standardized Mean Difference = -0.74; 95% CI = -1.67 to 0.18; p = 0.110).Conclusion: School based intervention reduces cigarette consumption. Keywords: School based intervention, tobacco, cigarette consumptionCorrespondence: Muhammad Rifqi Azhary. Abstract

Background: Anemia in pregnant women remains a health priority to be addressed immediately. Anemia in pregnant women may increase the risk of maternal mortality, abortion, perinatal death, low birth weight, and postpartum bleeding. This study aimed to examine the contextual effect of posyandu on adherence to iron tablet consumption among pregnant women in Blitar, East Java.Subjects and Method: This was a cross-sectional study conducted in Blitar, East Java, in November 2018. The dependent variable was adherence of iron tablet consumption. The independent variables were education, intention, attitude, perceived behavior control, family income, subjective norm, husband support, and posyandu. The data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by a multilevel linear regression run on Stata 13.Results: Iron tablet consumption increased with high education (b= 0.85; 95% CI= 0.05 to 1.66; p= 0.038), strong intention (b= 0.40; 95% CI= 0.02 to 0.77; p= 0.037), multiparity (b= 0.89; 95% CI= 0.15 to 1.62; p= 0.018), positive attitude (b= 0.29; 95% CI= 0.15 to 0.42; p<0.001), perceived behavior control (b= 0.33; 95% CI= 0.17 to 0.48; p<0.001), high family income (b= 0.05; 95% CI= 0.01 to 0.10; p= 0.018), iron tablet availability (b= 1.62; 95% CI= 0.84 to 2.40; p<0.001),strong husband support (b= 0.22; 95% CI= 0.04 to 0.40; p= 0.019), and subjective norm (b= 0.27; 95% CI= 0.03 to 0.52; p= 0.027). Iron tablet consumption decreased with side effect (b= -1.22; 95% CI= -2.12 to -0.33; p= 0.007). Posyandu had contextual effect in adherence to iron tablet consumption with ICC= 12.58%.Conclusion: Iron tablet consumption increases with high education, strong intention, multiparity, positive attitude, perceived behavior control, high family income, iron tablet availability, strong husband support, and subjective norm. Iron tablet consumption decreases with the side effect. Posyandu has contextual effect in adherence to iron tablet consumption. Keywords: Fe tablet consumption, posyandu, multilevel analysisCorrespondence:

The independent variables were maternal age at marriage, maternal education, parental income, parenting style, birth weight, birth length, child development monitoring, child development intervention, and integrated health post strata. Data collection was conducted using questionnaire and analyzed using multilevel logistic regression analysis in Stata 13.Results: Child development disorder increased with early maternal age at marriage (b= 3.18; 95% CI= 0.77 to 5.59; p = 0.010), but decreased with high maternal education (b= -2.22; 95% CI= -3.92 to -0.52; p= 0.010), high parental income (b= -4.01; 95% CI = -6.55 to -1.47; p= 0.002), proper parenting style (b= -2.89; 95% CI= -5.18 to -0.60; p= 0.013), normal birth weight (b= -2.87; 95% CI= -4.80 to -0.95; p= 0.003), normal birth length (b= -3.13; 95% CI= -5.63 to -0.63; p= 0.014), child development monitoring (b= -2.97 95% CI= -5.58 to -0.36; p= 0.025), and child development intervention (b = -3.53; 95% CI= -6.19 to -0.87; p= 0.009). The integrated health post had a contextual effect on child development with ICC= 19.9%.Conclusions: Child development disorder increases with early maternal age at marriage, but decreased with high maternal education, high parental income, proper parenting style, normal birth weight, normal birth length, child development monitoring, and child development intervention.
