The Role of the RUNJANI Running Community in Members’ Mental Resilience and Self-Confidence in Mataram City Abstract This study was motivated by the growing need for community-based sport activities in urban society that support not only physical fitness but also psychological development. The purpose of this study was to examine the role of involvement in the RUNJANI running community in members’ mental resilience and self-confidence in Mataram City. This research used a quantitative correlational approach involving 81 RUNJANI members selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using two simple linear regression models after meeting residual normality, linearity, and heteroscedasticity assumptions. The results showed that involvement in the RUNJANI community significantly influenced mental resilience, contributing 59.0%, and self-confidence, contributing 59.3%. This study concludes that RUNJANI functions as both a sport community and a social-support space that strengthens members’ resilience and confidence.
