Abstract

Pembentukan karakter pada anak usia dini memerlukan fondasi yang stabil, dan konsistensi dalam pola asuh serta pembelajaran terbukti menjadi syarat utamanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis urgensi konsistensi sebagai prasyarat mutlak dalam pembentukan karakter anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur sistematis dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif terhadap 35 artikel jurnal terindeks periode 2014–2024. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa konsistensi — dalam aturan, respons emosional, dan penerapan nilai — secara signifikan memengaruhi keamanan psikologis, kepercayaan diri, dan internalisasi nilai moral anak. Sebaliknya, inkonsistensi menyebabkan disonansi kognitif, kebingungan moral, dan perilaku oportunis. Simpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa konsistensi bukan sekadar strategi, melainkan kondisi wajib yang harus dipenuhi oleh orang tua dan pendidik untuk membangun karakter utuh sejak dini.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of illegal gold mining (Penambangan Emas Tanpa Izin [PETI]) using suction dredges (dompeng) on water pollution in Tanah Sepenggal Lintas District, Bungo Regency. The study employed a qualitative approach, with data collected through field observations, interviews, and documentation conducted in July 2025. The findings reveal that PETI activities have caused significant deterioration in river water quality, as indicated by increased turbidity, brownish discoloration, and unpleasant odors. In addition, mining activities have resulted in river sedimentation, degradation of riparian vegetation, and a decline in aquatic biodiversity. Mercury contamination was also detected at concentrations exceeding the established environmental quality standards, rendering the river water unsuitable for daily domestic use. These environmental impacts have adversely affected the health and socioeconomic conditions of local communities. Although various initiatives have been undertaken by the government, local communities, and relevant stakeholders to curb illegal mining activities, their implementation continues to face challenges, particularly in monitoring and law enforcement. This study concludes that illegal gold mining using dompeng has severe consequences for aquatic ecosystems and requires more comprehensive and sustainable management strategies.

Abstract

The integration of digital technology into science education has emerged as an effective solution to address the limitations of conventional laboratory facilities in schools. One of the most prominent innovations is the use of virtual laboratories, simulation-based learning environments that enable students to conduct interactive experiments without requiring access to physical laboratories. This study aims to examine how the use of virtual laboratories contributes to the improvement of students' science process skills. A literature review method was employed by analyzing eleven relevant scholarly articles on the implementation of virtual laboratories in science education. The research procedure consisted of problem identification, literature retrieval from various academic sources, selection of relevant references, data analysis, and conclusion drawing. The findings consistently demonstrate that virtual laboratories enhance students' science process skills, particularly in observing, classifying, formulating hypotheses, conducting experiments, analyzing data, and drawing conclusions. Furthermore, the use of virtual laboratories has a positive impact on students' academic achievement, learning motivation, and digital literacy. This study concludes that virtual laboratories are an effective and innovative instructional medium that can serve as a viable alternative to conventional laboratories for improving the quality of science education in schools.

Abstract

Science learning in elementary schools plays a crucial role in developing students' critical thinking, logical reasoning, and curiosity about natural phenomena. However, science is often perceived as a difficult and less engaging subject due to the limited use of diverse instructional methods. This article aims to analyze how the use of interactive learning media can enhance students' interest in learning science at the elementary school level. The study employed a qualitative literature review approach by examining relevant national journal articles on the use of interactive media in science instruction. The findings indicate that interactive learning media, such as animated videos, simulations, and educational games, effectively increase students' engagement, motivation, and active participation during the learning process. Furthermore, the use of interactive media has been shown to facilitate students' understanding of abstract scientific concepts and significantly improve their learning outcomes. In conclusion, interactive learning media play a vital role in enhancing elementary school students' interest in science learning and represent an innovative solution for science education in the digital era.
