Abstract

This research aims to determine: (1) a positive influence of student?s motivation towards      their      mathematics      learning outcomes;    (2)   a    positive    influence    of student?s       learning       habits       towards mathematics  learning  outcomes;  (3)  and  a positive  influence  of  the  student?s  between motivation and study habits combined toward mathematics     learning     outcomes.     The research   was   conducted   using   a   survey method explanation. In this research, there are three instruments. The instrument for the student?s mathematics learning outcomes is in  essay  form.  While  the  instrument  for student's motivation and study habits are in the  form  of  questionnaires.  Data  analysis technique  used  in  this  research  is  simple regression and double regression. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that:  (1) there is a positive influence of the student's motivation     towards     their     mathematics learning  outcomes;  (2)  there  is  a  positive influence   of   the   student's   study   habits towards  their  learning  outcomes;  and  (3) there is a positive influence motivation and study  habits  of  students  combined  toward their outcomes in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Chlorella sp. is a type of phytoplankton that shows promise as a feed source for Moina sp. due to its appropriate size, comprehensive nutritional profile, and ease of cultivation. The goal of this research is to evaluate the impact of various densities of Chlorella sp. on the population growth of Moina sp. This study employed an experimental approach using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and three replicates. The treatments consisted of P1 = Chlorella at a density of 75 × 10^4 cells/mL, P2 = 100 × 10^4 cells/mL, P3 = 125 × 10^4 cells/mL, and P4 = 150 × 10^4 cells/mL. The parameters monitored included population growth, growth rate, and water quality factors such as temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), and ammonia (NH3) levels. The findings indicated that the highest population of Moina sp. occurred with the application of Chlorella sp. at a density of 150 × 10^4 cells/mL, reaching 8,258 individuals per liter on the 14th day. In contrast, the lowest population was associated with the density of 75 × 10^4 cells/mL, which resulted in 1,958 individuals per liter on the 12th day. The results suggest that varying the densities of Chlorella sp. had a highly significant effect (p < 0.05) on the population growth of Moina sp

Abstract

One of the organic fertilizers that has the potential to cultivate Chlorella sp. is the cow's rumen. To increase the nutrient content in the cow's rumen, the cow's rumen must be made into bokashi and enriched with chicken manure. This study aimed to determine the use of cow's rumen bokashi enriched with chicken manure at different doses on Chlorella sp cell density. The research design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications, namely P0 (2 g/L cow's rumen bokashi), P1 = 2 g/L cow's rumen bokashi enriched with 2.5 g/L chicken manure, P2 = 2 g/L cow's rumen bokashi enriched with 3.0 g/L chicken manure, P3 = 2 g/L cow's rumen bokashi enriched with 3.5 g/L chicken manure, and P4 = 2 g/L cow's rumen bokashi enriched with 4.0 g/L chicken manure. The results showed that the highest cell density of Chlorella sp. occurred in treatment P3 (i.e. 456.1 ± 15.1 í— 104 cells/mL) and the highest specific growth rate occurred in treatment P0 (i.e. 0.20 ± 0.0/day). Nutrient levels in the culture medium are optimal for Chlorella sp., with nitrate ranging from 0.1375 to 0.2833 mg/L and phosphate ranging from 2.4889 to 2.8650 mg/L. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of cow's rumen bokashi enriched with chicken manure had a very significant effect on cell density and specific growth rate of Chlorella sp. (P<0.01).
