Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of religious moderation policies within Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (PTKI) as a strategic strategy to counter radicalism. The main issue raised is the vulnerability of students to the infiltration of extreme ideologies that threaten national integration. The significance of this study lies in the need to evaluate national policies such as the 2020-2024 and 2025-2029 National Medium-Term Development Plans (RPJMN) in an academic context. Using a qualitative methodology through a systematic literature review of 20 primary sources and statistical data from various PTKIs, this study found that the establishment of the House of Religious Moderation (RMB) and the integration of the wasathiyah curriculum have significantly increased the student tolerance index, despite still facing challenges such as internal resistance, budget constraints, and digital disruption. The results indicate that religious moderation is effective as an ideological "vaccine," with the student religiosity index reaching 88.40 in 2025. In conclusion, this policy must continue to be strengthened through an ecotheological approach and deeper internalization of values to support the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.

Abstract

This paper aims to explore in depth the concept of human nature from an Islamic and psychological perspective and its relevance as a mitigation instrument against the phenomenon of moral degradation in the digital era. The main problem identified is the occurrence of psychospiritual disequilibrium in the younger generation due to unfiltered exposure to information technology, which causes alienation from the sacred nature of humanity. The urgency of this task lies in the urgent need for an educational framework capable of maintaining the moral integrity of students amidst the currents of modern materialism and secularism. The methodology applied is a literature study (library research) using a qualitative-descriptive approach, synthesizing classical texts and contemporary findings. The results indicate that fitrah is a dynamic, innate potential encompassing monotheism, intellectual, and moral dimensions that requires a conducive environment for its actualization. These findings confirm that the success of character education depends heavily on aligning learning methods with natural human development patterns through a holistic and integrative approach.
