Abstract

This research is motivated by the low activeness and learning outcomes of students in the Mathematics subject of Grade IV at SD Negeri 47 Surakan. The purpose of this study is to improve students' activeness and mathematics learning outcomes through the application of the Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual (SAVI) learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. This study uses the Kammis and McTaggart model which consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 13 Grade IV students of SD Negeri 47 Surakan. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, tests, and documentation. The research results show that the implementation of the SAVI learning model can increase student activeness and learning outcomes. Student activeness increased from 41% in the pre-action phase to 62% in cycle I, and increased to 87% in cycle II. In addition, student learning outcomes also increased, from 31% in the pre-action phase to 62% in cycle I, and increased to 85% in cycle II. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual (SAVI) learning model can improve the activeness and mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 47 Surakan.

Abstract

The low level of students’ understanding of angle material, the lack of interactive learning media, and the use of conventional teaching methods became problems in mathematics learning for fifth-grade students at SDN 143 Lemo. These conditions caused students to be less active, easily bored, and have difficulty understanding abstract angle concepts. Therefore, interactive learning media were needed to improve learning quality. This study aimed to develop an interactive Electronic Student Worksheet (E-LKPD) based on Liveworksheet on angle material and determine its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The subjects were three validators and 20 fifth-grade students of SDN 143 Lemo. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, documentation, and tests. The results showed that the interactive E-LKPD based on Liveworksheet was categorized as very valid, with average scores of 3.92 from media experts, 4.25 from material experts, and 5.00 from practitioners. The practicality test obtained average scores of 4.30 in the small group trial and 4.65 in the large group trial. The effectiveness test showed an N-Gain score of 0.53 in the moderate category. Therefore, the interactive E-LKPD based on Liveworksheet is feasible and effective for mathematics learning in elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation steps of the Picture and Picture learning model and to measure the improvement of science (IPAS) learning outcomes on the topic of human developmental stages among fifth-grade students of UPT SDN 13 Pinrang. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subjects were 20 students of class VB in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through achievement tests, observation of teacher and student activities, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques (class mean and classical mastery) complemented by qualitative analysis. The findings show a consistent improvement across cycles. The class mean rose from 66.75 in the pre-cycle to 73.75 in Cycle I and 86.75 in Cycle II, while classical mastery increased from 25% (5 of 20 students) to 55% (11 students) and finally 95% (19 students). Student learning activity also improved from 68.75% (fair) in Cycle I to 86.75% (very good) in Cycle II. These results confirm that the systematic and consistent application of the Picture and Picture model, which integrates concrete visual media with logical image sequencing and collaborative discussion, effectively enhances students' science learning outcomes at the elementary level.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan siswa kelas III UPT SDN 280 Pinrang dalam menyelesaikan masalah operasi hitung uang. Hanya 33,33% siswa mencapai Kriteria Ketercapaian Tujuan Pembelajaran (KKTP) sebesar 70 dengan rata-rata nilai 53,33 akibat pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan model Project-Based Learning (PBL) serta meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah operasi hitung uang. Penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan subjek 12 siswa kelas III semester genap tahun pelajaran 2025/2026. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai dari 53,33 menjadi 65,83 pada Siklus I dan 77,92 pada Siklus II. Ketuntasan belajar klasikal meningkat dari 33,33% menjadi 58,33% pada Siklus I dan 83,33% pada Siklus II. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran oleh guru meningkat dari 80,8% menjadi 96,7%, sedangkan aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat dari 80,6% menjadi 97,2%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Project-Based Learning (PBL) efektif meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah operasi hitung uang melalui pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis proyek.
