Abstract

This study aimed to determine the implementation of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model based on Wordwall in improving students’ learning outcomes in science and social studies subjects at MI Muhammadiyah Malua. This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 12 third-grade students of MI Muhammadiyah Malua. Data collection techniques included tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the implementation of the Wordwall-based CIRC learning model improved students’ learning outcomes. In the pre-action stage, students’ learning outcomes were still low and most students had not achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). In cycle I, the percentage of students achieving mastery learning reached 67%, while in cycle II it increased to 83%. In addition, students became more active, enthusiastic, and cooperative during the learning process. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model based on Wordwall is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in science and social studies subjects.

Abstract

RISMA, 2026. Penggunaan media pembelajaran model paired story telling berbantuan media pop up book untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar IPAS kelas V mis muhammadiyah malua. Pembimbing I:Aminullah spd,M.pd dan pembimbing II: Fuad danindra s.kom.M.I.kom Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Fakultas Keguruan Dan Ilmu Pendidikan ,Universitas Muhammadiyah Enrekang .Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPAS) melalui penerapan model Paired Story Telling berbantuan media Pop Up Book pada peserta didik kelas V MIS Muhammadiyah Malua. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 12 peserta didik yang terdiri atas 6 laki-laki dan 6 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket motivasi belajar, tes hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menghitung persentase motivasi dan ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Paired Story Telling berbantuan media Pop Up Book mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar IPA peserta didik. Persentase motivasi belajar pada siklus I mencapai 58,58% dan meningkat menjadi 83,33% pada siklus II. Ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik pada siklus I sebesar 58,59% dan meningkat menjadi 91,92% pada siklus II. Dengan demikian, penerapan model Paired Story Telling berbantuan media Pop Up Book efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta IPA didik kelas V MIS Muhammadiyah Malua.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in the Pancasila Education subject at MI Muhammadiyah Cece, which were caused by the dominance of conventional, teacher-centered teaching methods that left students passive and lacking a deep understanding of the material. This research aimed to describe the implementation of the Talking Stick learning model and to determine the extent to which the model could improve students’ learning outcomes on the topic of rights and obligations. This study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design following the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model, consisting of the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection, carried out over two cycles with four meetings. The subjects were 21 fifth-grade students, comprising 12 female and 9 male students. Data were collected through multiple-choice achievement tests, observation sheets, and documentation, and were analyzed descriptively using mean scores and percentages. The results showed that the percentage of students who achieved the minimum learning completion criterion (KKTP ≥ 75) increased from 9.52% in the pre-action stage to 38.10% in Cycle I, and further increased to 95.23% in Cycle II. Student engagement and teacher performance also improved substantially between cycles. These findings indicate that the Talking Stick learning model is effective in improving the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in Pancasila Education at MI Muhammadiyah Cece.
