Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of digital-based academic supervision in improving teacher performance at SDN Gudang 1, Cikalongkulon District, Cianjur Regency. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies involving the principal, teachers, and school operator as research informants. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results revealed that digital-based academic supervision was implemented through systematic planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up stages utilizing various digital platforms such as Google Forms, Google Drive, Zoom Meeting, and Ruang GTK. The implementation of digital supervision positively contributed to improving teacher professionalism, administrative discipline, and the ability to integrate technology into the learning process. Several obstacles were identified, including unstable internet connectivity, limited digital facilities, and varying levels of teachers’ technological competence. To overcome these challenges, the school organized technology training programs, peer tutoring activities, and continuous mentoring. The findings indicate that digital-based academic supervision can serve as an effective strategy for enhancing teacher performance and improving the quality of learning in elementary schools in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of the Student Admission System (SPMB) in relation to the utilization of school capacity data at SD Negeri Tegalsari, Cikalongkulon District, Cianjur Regency, Academic Year 2026/2027. The study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, SPMB committee chairperson, teachers, and school operators. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that the management of SPMB at SD Negeri Tegalsari was implemented through the management functions of planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. School capacity determination was based on classroom availability, the number of teachers, educational facilities, and regulations established by the education authority. Capacity data served as the basis for determining student admission quotas, enabling the selection process to be conducted objectively, transparently, and accountably. Challenges encountered during the implementation of SPMB included discrepancies between the number of applicants and available capacity; however, these were addressed through effective coordination among school stakeholders. Therefore, capacity-based SPMB management contributes significantly to the effectiveness of student admissions and supports the maintenance of educational service quality.

Abstract

The implementation of learning taxonomies plays an important role in improving students' cognitive development and learning quality in elementary schools. However, classroom learning practices are still predominantly oriented toward Bloom's Taxonomy, while the application of the Structure of the Observed Learning Outcome (SOLO) Taxonomy remains limited. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of SOLO Taxonomy and Bloom's Taxonomy in improving students' understanding of educational taxonomy structures at SDN Rawa Buaya 07 and SDN Cengkareng Timur 03. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects consisted of principals, fourth- and fifth-grade teachers, and students. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, including data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that Bloom's Taxonomy has been systematically implemented in lesson planning, classroom instruction, and assessment practices. In contrast, the SOLO Taxonomy has not yet been explicitly integrated into the learning process due to teachers' limited understanding of its concepts and application. Nevertheless, several learning activities implicitly reflected SOLO levels, particularly at the multistructural and relational stages. The integration of Bloom's and SOLO Taxonomies provides a more comprehensive framework for designing learning activities and assessing students' depth of understanding. Therefore, strengthening teachers' competencies in implementing both taxonomies is essential to support meaningful learning and improve students' higher-order thinking skills in elementary education.
