<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze innovations in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning methods to improve the quality of students’ learning processes in the digital era. Rapid technological developments and changes in students’ learning characteristics require PAI teachers to move beyond conventional lecture methods and adopt more creative, interactive, and student-centered approaches. Learning innovation is essential for creating an effective and engaging learning environment while helping students understand and apply Islamic values in daily life.This study employed a qualitative approach using the library research method. Data were collected from books, scientific journals, academic articles, and other relevant documents related to innovations in PAI learning methods. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.The findings reveal that innovative PAI learning can be implemented through various active learning models, including problem-based learning, project-based learning, cooperative learning, blended learning, and the use of interactive digital media. The integration of technology, such as learning applications, educational videos, digital quizzes, and online learning platforms, contributes to higher learning motivation, greater student participation, and improved understanding of religious materials. In addition, collaborative and experience-based learning approaches support the development of religious character, responsibility, tolerance, and critical thinking skills. The study concludes that innovation in PAI learning methods is a necessity in addressing the challenges of 21st-century education. Innovative learning not only enhances cognitive achievement but also strengthens affective and psychomotor domains. Therefore, improving teachers’ pedagogical competence, technological skills, and institutional support is crucial for ensuring effective and meaningful PAI learning.]]>
