Abstract

This study aims to find out how much work-life balance and career development influence employee performance, with employee engagement as an intervening variable, among Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technical Staff at Bunda Medical Center General Hospital in Padang. Data was collected through a survey by distributing questionnaires to 48 respondents consisting of pharmacists and pharmacy staff. The analysis method used was path analysis with SmartPLS. The results based on partial tests show that work-life balance does not have a significant effect on employee engagement. Career development has a significant effect on employee engagement. Work-life balance does not have a significant effect on employee performance. Career development has a significant effect on employee performance. There is a significant effect of engagement

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of product quality and service quality on purchasing decisions, mediated by purchase intention, at Kanopi Cafe Dharmasraya. The method employed was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using Partial Least Squares (PLS), with data collected via questionnaires distributed to 76 respondents. The research findings indicate the following: There is no significant influence of product quality on purchase intention at Kanopi Cafe Dharmasraya. There is no significant influence of service quality on purchase intention at Kanopi Cafe Dharmasraya. There is a significant influence of product quality on purchasing decisions at Kanopi Cafe Dharmasraya. There is no significant influence of service quality on purchasing decisions at Kanopi Cafe Dharmasraya. There is a significant influence of purchase intention on purchasing decisions at Kanopi Cafe Dharmasraya. Purchase intention does not mediate the relationship between product quality and purchasing decisions. Purchase intention does not mediate the relationship between service quality and purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This research is driven by the importance of optimizing employee performance in government agencies, which is influenced by factors such as discipline, technology support, and the dynamics of employee work motivation. The aim of this quantitative study is to analyze the effect of Technology Availability and Work Discipline on Employee Performance through Work Motivation as an intervening variable at the Tanjung Harapan Sub-District Office in Solok City. This study uses the entire population of 41 respondents as the research sample. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using variance-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through SmartPLS software. The path analysis results show that Technology Availability and Work Discipline directly have a positive and significant effect on both Work Motivation and Employee Performance, and Work Motivation also has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance.
