The increasing dissemination of intimate content without the victim's consent (revenge porn) as a form of Online Gender-Based Violence (OGBV) raises legal concerns due to the absence of explicit terminology in Indonesia's Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE Law). This study aims to analyze the applicability of the ITE Law in addressing revenge porn in cyberspace and to examine the legal implications of the absence of explicit regulation. The research employs a normative legal method using statutory, conceptual, and case approaches. The findings indicate that Article 27(1) of the ITE Law remains applicable to prosecute perpetrators based on the principle of lex specialis derogat legi generali, despite the absence of the term revenge porn. However, this condition results in broader law enforcement discretion, suboptimal victim protection, greater complexity in law enforcement, and limited liability of digital platforms. The study concludes that strengthening the legal framework is necessary to enhance legal certainty and improve the effectiveness of victim protection in the digital environment.
