Abstract

Reading is an activity that serves as a fundamental necessity in daily life. It is an effort to acquire information, enhance knowledge, and improve skills. Low reading interest among students can be attributed to a lack of understanding of the importance of reading benefits, insufficient self-motivation, and a lack of support from the surrounding environment. Therefore, a school literacy program needs to be implemented to serve as a means for students to explore, understand, and deepen the knowledge acquired in school. Through the literacy school movement, it is hoped that schools can become enjoyable and child-friendly learning environments, enabling students to manage information and knowledge, thus broadening their understanding. The purpose of this article is to examine the content of the chosen article to assess the results of implementing the school literacy program in an effort to increase students' reading interest. The analysis of several writings and journals reveals that the School Literacy Movement is executed in three stages: familiarization, development, and learning. There are various activities aimed at enhancing children's reading interest through the school literacy movement, including establishing a habit of reading for 15 minutes before the lesson starts, providing a reading corner, creating a literacy tree in the classroom, offering a comfortable library service, empowering school bulletin boards, school monetization, and organizing literacy competitions between classes.

Abstract

Islamic education serves as the fundamental foundation in shaping the character and morals of individuals, especially children undergoing the crucial stages of growth and development. The Islamic educational environment, as a vital component, plays a pivotal role in determining the success of the learning process. Despite social interaction being part of the environment, it does not always result in education, even though there are potential factors that could contribute to the educational process. Therefore, this research explores the urgency, argumentation, and significance of the Islamic educational environment to understand how these factors can be optimized to achieve holistic Islamic educational goals. The importance of Islamic education extends beyond religious knowledge, encompassing the formation of attitudes, morals, and religious feelings in children. The environment, as the space for interaction between individuals and surrounding factors, significantly influences the development of a child's soul, both positively and negatively. This article delves deeply into the role of the Islamic educational environment, how environmental factors shape a child's character, and the importance of a profound understanding of the concept of the Islamic educational environment to achieve optimal learning goals.

Abstract

The study and discussion of this research aim to understand the planning of the tilawati method, the stages of the tilawati method, and the evaluation results of the tilawati method at TK Khodijah Malangsari. The research design employed in this study is qualitative research, and data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis involves triangulation, a technique that examines the authenticity of data by utilizing something outside the data for checking purposes or as a comparison to the data. The findings of this research indicate that the tilawati method is highly enjoyable as it incorporates the use of rhythmic songs in the learning process. The tilawati method serves as a guide for learning, making it easier to achieve both the quality and timing targets of the curriculum. In introducing the hijaiyah using the tilawati method at TK Khodijah Malangsari, the teachers prepare a set of learning materials through discussions. During the actual introduction of the hijaiyah, teachers utilize two approaches: the classical approach and the individual approach. For the evaluation results of the tilawati method at TK Khodijah Malangsari, it is expected that children can achieve the specified targets in the tilawati curriculum. This includes the ability to write and read the hijaiyah correctly, read the Arabic alphabet with proper pronunciation (tajwid), and master the unique sounds and melodies of the tilawati method.

Abstract

Mensinergikan nilai – nilai islam dalam dunia pendidikan penting dilakukan untuk menciptakan karakter siswa yang Islami baik secara mental maupun spiritual. Salah satunya dengan cara meng-integrasikan konsep-konsep tasawuf kedalam kurikulum pendidikan agama islam. Dalam konteks konsep tasawuf yang berkaca pada ulama lokal, salah satunya adalah Quraish Shihab, perlu kiranya meng-itegrasikan kosepnya dalam pendidikan, terutama ketika konsep tersebut berakar pada ajaran tradisi Islam. Dalam Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi integrasi konsep tasawuf, khususnya zuhud dan tawakal menurut pemikiran Quraish Shihab, dalam pendidikan agama Islam. Zuhud, sebagai sikap hidup sederhana dan tidak tergantung pada materi, serta tawakal, yaitu berserah diri sepenuhnya kepada Tuhan setelah berusaha, adalah dua konsep utama dalam tasawuf yang penting untuk pengembangan spiritual. Quraish Shihab, melalui berbagai karya dan interpretasinya, menawarkan pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai bagaimana kedua konsep ini dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari serta pendidikan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi pustaka, mencakup analisis teks-teks Quraish Shihab dan implementasinya dalam kurikulum pendidikan agama Islam. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi konsep zuhud dan tawakal dalam pendidikan agama Islam sangat penting untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai spiritual dan moral pada siswa.Dengan mengajarkan siswa tentang pentingnya kesederhanaan, keterikatan, dan kepercayaan kepada Allah, pendidikan dapat membentuk karakter yang seimbang dan bermakna, yang menjamin keberhasilan di dunia dan akhirat. Ajaran Zuhud dan Tawakkal memberikan landasan yang kuat bagi para siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan hidup dengan sikap positif dan ketekunan, yang pada akhirnya mengarah pada kehidupan yang holistik dan memuaskan
