Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of room facilities on guest satisfaction staying at the Pesona Alam Sangir hotel. This research is quantitative descriptive research with a causal associative method. The method used in sampling is non probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique. The analysis techniques used in this research are validity test, reliability test, quantitative descriptive analysis, assumption test (normality test, linearity test, and coefficient of determination test). The sample used was guests staying at the Pesona Alam Sangir hotel. The results of the research show that: (1) Room facilities are in the quite good category overall with a percentage of (38%), (2) Guest satisfaction is in the quite good category overall with a percentage of (49%), (3) Linear regression test results simply obtained a calculated F value of 686.500 with sig 0.000 <0.05 then regression can be used. This means that room facilities have a significant effect on guest satisfaction. The results of the regression coefficient equation are 0.854 with sig. 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that every increase of 1 unit of room facilities will increase 1 unit of guest satisfaction. Then the R Square value is 0.762. This means that room facilities influence guest satisfaction by 76.2%, while 23.8% are influenced by other factors.

The total sample in this study was 88 people. The analytical prerequisite tests used in this study are the normality test, the homogeneity test, and the linearity test. To test the hypothesis using a simple linear regression test. The results of the study were: Variable X (Room Facilities) is in the unfavorable category with a percentage of 35%. Variable Y (Guest Satisfaction) is in the good category with a percentage of 38%. Based on a simple linear regression test f count of 76,276 with a significant 0.000 0.05, the room facilities variable can affect guest satisfaction with an R Square value of 0.470. Room facilities affect guest satisfaction significantly by 47% and are influenced by other factors by 53%. Abstract

Pangandaran is the 16th district out of 514 districts/cities in Indonesia with a high potential for disasters. In its management, there are still different views regarding disaster mitigation by stakeholders, namely the Government, Private, and Community sectors. This study aims to look at the existing conditions of disaster mitigation carried out in Pangandaran and collaborative governance in disaster mitigation management at Pangandaran Beach. This study uses a qualitative approach by determining the participants from primary stakeholders interested in tourism and natural disasters. Structural and non-structural disaster mitigation has been carried out in Pangandaran using the tsunami risk management master plan manual (BNPB 2012). There are 11 indicators that 2 indicators are still lacking, namely related to disaster evacuation orientation maps and early warning system tools which are very crucial when a disaster occurs. The result of Collaborative governance adopted by the theory of DeSeve (2007) is still not done optimally because tourism management and disaster mitigation have not been integrated and are still running from each party, namely the government, the private sector and public funds, of the 8 indicators only part of the commitment to a common purpose which began to form because they realized that the seriousness of the disaster issue that in Pangandaran can have an impact on all parties.
