<![CDATA[Caring is a humanitarian knowledge, the core of ethical and philosophical nursing practice, as well as an action aimed at providing physical care and emotional attention while increasing the sense of security and safety of patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between individual characteristics and the perception of caring behavior of implementing nurses in the inpatient room of Tgk. Abdullah Syafi'i Beureunuen Hospital. This study is descriptive correlative with a cross-sectional approach. and the sampling method is proportional systematic random sampling where the number of samples is 50 respondents. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that most of the perceptions of caring behavior are in the good category or 33 people (66.0%). The results of the Chi-Square Test show that with a p value of age (0.006) there is a relationship between age and the perception of caring behavior of implementing nurses in the inpatient room of Tgk. Abdullah Syafi'i Beureunuen Hospital. Abdullah Syafi'i Beureunuen, and for variables such as gender (0.073), length of service (0.653), education (0.166) and marital status (0.777) There is no relationship with the perception of caring behavior of nurses in the Inpatient Ward of Tgk. Abdullah Syafi'i Beureunuen Hospital. It is recommended to all nurses in the Inpatient Ward of Tgk. Abdullah Syafi'i Beureunuen Hospital to continue to improve their understanding and application of caring behavior by reading literature, attending training, and actively participating in discussions in the treatment room.]]>
