Abstract

This study examines Islamic education policies in the era of global transformation, focusing on the adaptation of educational institutions and government to the challenges of digitalization, globalization, and socio-cultural change. The research employs a qualitative approach using a literature study, reviewing various academic sources, policy documents, and previous studies. The findings indicate that Islamic education seeks to maintain a balance between mastery of religious knowledge, the strengthening of Islamic character, and the development of 21st-century competencies. Implemented strategies include the modernization of madrasahs through technology, capacity building for teachers, integration of religious and general curricula, and international collaboration. Future policies emphasize character-based education, expanded access through digitalization, and the enhancement of graduate competitiveness. These findings align with Diffusion of Innovation Theory and Transformational Learning Theory, highlighting adaptation to global changes and holistic development of learners.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis manajemen lembaga pendidikan Islam di era digital, dengan fokus pada implementasi digital, faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta strategi adaptasi dan inovasi manajemen. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi dan kualitas pembelajaran melalui penggunaan sistem informasi manajemen dan platform e-learning. Keberhasilan transformasi digital dipengaruhi oleh kesiapan infrastruktur, kompetensi tenaga pendidik, dukungan manajemen, dan ketersediaan konten pembelajaran. Hambatan yang ditemui meliputi rendahnya literasi digital, keterbatasan anggaran, resistensi terhadap perubahan, dan kekhawatiran terhadap keamanan data. Strategi adaptif dan inovatif, seperti pelatihan rutin, SOP berbasis digital, pengembangan konten kreatif, serta monitoring dan evaluasi, membantu lembaga menyeimbangkan modernisasi dengan nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Management Information Systems (MIS) to enhance the efficiency of Islamic educational institutions. Using a qualitative method with a literature review approach, this research analyzes relevant sources on MIS practices in the academic context. The findings indicate that MIS effectively automates the management of student and teacher data, attendance, curriculum, scheduling, and financial reporting, resulting in faster, more accurate, and more transparent administrative processes. The main challenges in implementation include technological readiness, human resource competence, and the need for a gradual deployment strategy. Overall, MIS plays a significant role in improving the quality of management within Islamic educational institutions when supported by adequate organizational preparedness and user training.
