Abstract

This study analyzes digital innovation in educational administration management, including the types of innovations, supporting factors, obstacles, as well as their impacts and implications on efficiency, service quality, and decision-making. The research employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach. The results indicate that digital innovations, such as School Management Information Systems (SMIS), cloud-based applications, document digitization, and the integration of artificial intelligence, enhance administrative efficiency, accelerate decision-making, and improve transparency and accountability. The success of implementation is influenced by ICT infrastructure, staff competence, management support, and an adaptive organizational culture, while challenges include resistance to change, budget constraints, data security issues, and disparities in digital skills. The implementation of digital innovations has implications for developing institutional digital capacity, transforming work culture, and potentially improving overall educational quality.

Abstract

This study examines Islamic education policies in the era of global transformation, focusing on the adaptation of educational institutions and government to the challenges of digitalization, globalization, and socio-cultural change. The research employs a qualitative approach using a literature study, reviewing various academic sources, policy documents, and previous studies. The findings indicate that Islamic education seeks to maintain a balance between mastery of religious knowledge, the strengthening of Islamic character, and the development of 21st-century competencies. Implemented strategies include the modernization of madrasahs through technology, capacity building for teachers, integration of religious and general curricula, and international collaboration. Future policies emphasize character-based education, expanded access through digitalization, and the enhancement of graduate competitiveness. These findings align with Diffusion of Innovation Theory and Transformational Learning Theory, highlighting adaptation to global changes and holistic development of learners.

Abstract

This study examines leadership in Islamic education in the modern era, focusing on the concepts, strategies, and challenges faced by leaders. Islamic education emphasizes not only academic development but also the cultivation of character, ethics, and spirituality among students. The modern era demands leadership that is adaptive, innovative, and visionary, while simultaneously balancing Islamic values with the demands of technology and globalization.The study employs a qualitative approach through a literature review to analyze leadership theories, the roles of leaders, challenges, and effective strategies. The findings indicate that effective leadership integrates Islamic principles with transformational, visionary, and participative leadership theories, ensuring that educational institutions remain relevant, adaptive, and sustainable. This study contributes both theoretically and practically to the development of contemporary Islamic education leadership.
