Abstract

This study aimed to describe the basic technical skills and physical condition of Adios FC Padang female futsal players as a basis for designing training programs. A quantitative descriptive design with a test-and-measurement survey approach was employed. The sample consisted of 30 players aged 20–23 years selected through purposive sampling. Physical condition was assessed using the Bleep Test, 20-Meter Sprint, Standing Broad Jump, and Illinois Agility Test, while basic skills were assessed using the Wall Pass Test, Slalom Dribbling Test, and Shooting Accuracy Test. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, percentages, norm-referenced classifications, and T-scores. Overall physical condition was classified as moderate, with a mean combined T-score of 198.50; the distribution was dominated by moderate (40%) and poor (30%) categories. Basic technical skills were also moderate, with a mean combined T-score of 150.01 and 37% of players in the moderate category. Endurance, passing-control, and shooting were the most critical weaknesses, whereas dribbling was relatively stronger. These findings support an integrated training program emphasizing aerobic capacity, passing and first-touch accuracy, finishing, lower-limb explosive power, and periodic reassessment using consistent measurement procedures.
