Abstract

This community development project addressed the need for futsal sports training among physical education teachers in Bulak Village, Jatibarang Baru, Indramayu Regency. The initiative aligns with the Ministry's programs, which emphasize a curriculum with a deep learning approach. The training covered fundamental knowledge, game strategies, and effective futsal teaching methods for schools. The program was implemented using a comprehensive pedagogical approach that incorporated deep learning, meaningful learning, mindful learning, and joyful learning to create a more profound, relevant, and motivating learning experience for the participating teachers. The training also combined lectures, video-based analysis, group discussions, and field practice to strengthen both conceptual understanding and practical skills. A total of 30 teachers from various educational levels participated in the program, with an average age of 32.03 years and an average teaching experience of 6.96 years. The effectiveness of the program was evaluated using participants' perceptions of four aspects: training materials, methods and delivery, facilities and equipment, and training benefits. Post-training evaluation showed positive results: the average score for training materials was 4.84 (96.8%), methods and delivery scored 4.83 (96.6%), facilities and equipment scored 4.55 (90.93%), and the perceived benefits of the training scored 4.81 (96.2%).
