Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effects of interest rates and service quality on customers’ decisions to choose time deposits at BPR Monta Baru in Dompu Regency, Indonesia. Research Method: This study employs a quantitative approach grounded in positivist philosophy, with a population of 200 deposit account holders. Using the simple random sampling technique and the Slovin formula, a sample of 67 respondents was selected. Primary data were collected using a questionnaire and subsequently analyzed using multiple linear regression in SPSS. Results and Discussion: The research findings indicate that interest rates and service quality—both individually and jointly—positively and significantly influence customers’ decisions when choosing deposit products. Implications: These findings can serve as a basis for BPR management in formulating strategies to enhance the company’s competitiveness by offering competitive interest rates and improving service quality standards to maintain customer loyalty. Originality: The novelty of this study lies in its integration of Consumer Behavior Theory and the Marketing Mix to examine the factors influencing customer decisions at rural credit banks (BPRs) in regional areas, particularly following the implementation of nomenclature changes under Law No. 4 of 2023.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine the effect of digital technology use on employee productivity, with work stress acting as a mediating variable at the Kelurahan Offices in Dompu District. Research Method: This quantitative research utilized a sample of 77 employees from six kelurahan offices. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. Results and Discussion: The analysis shows that digital technology use has a positive, significant direct effect on employee productivity, while simultaneously increasing work stress. Furthermore, work stress directly affects productivity and serves as a mediating variable that bridges the relationship between digital technology and employee productivity. Implications: The dynamics of productivity improvement due to digital technology are highly influenced by the work stress experienced during adaptation. Relevant institutions should conduct periodic technology training and adjust workloads to minimize adaptation tension (technostress). Originality: This research uniquely highlights the dual-edged impact of digitalization within the specific context of local government administration, providing empirical evidence on technostress as a crucial mediator.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to analyze the effect of employee engagement and psychological well-being on employee loyalty through organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) as a mediating variable at Hotel Aman Gati and Any Lestari. Research Method: A quantitative approach was employed using a total sampling technique involving 45 operational employees. Data were collected via Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) through SmartPLS. Results and Discussion: The findings reveal that both employee engagement and psychological well-being have a positive and significant direct impact on employee loyalty and OCB. Furthermore, OCB serves as a significant mediator, linking work engagement, psychological well-being, and long-term employee loyalty. Implications: Hotel management should develop strategic policies that support mental well-being and active engagement to retain human resources sustainably. Future research is recommended to increase sample sizes, include additional hotel tiers, and explore additional variables such as organizational culture. Originality: This study provides originality by empirically confirming the mediating role of OCB within the specific and rarely studied context of a local-scale hospitality ecosystem.
