Abstract

The development of health technology encourages the use of telemedicine as an alternative to digital health services. Alodokter is one of the telemedicine applications that are widely used by Indonesian people. However, the results of initial observations show that the use of the application by students is still low even though most of them are familiar with the application. The formulation of the research problem is and whether there is an influence of digital education on the knowledge and satisfaction of using Kesmas UNG students using the Alodokter telemedicine application. This study aims to determine the influence of digital education of the Alodokter telemedicine application on knowledge and user satisfaction in Gorontalo State University Public Health students. This type of quantitative research with a pre-experimental design uses a one group pretest-posttest approach. The research sample amounted to 30 students who had used the Alodokter application with purposive sampling techniques. The research instrument used a questionnaire on knowledge and usage satisfaction. Data analysis was carried out using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study showed that the average knowledge score before education was 8.20 and after education was 9.83, there was an increase of around 1.63. And the average satisfaction score of the respondents before education was 28.63 and after education was 34.1, there was an increase of around 5.47 with a knowledge p value of p = 0.000 (P ≤ 0.05), and a P value of usage satisfaction of P = 0.001 (P ≤ 0.05). The conclusion of this study is that there is an increase in knowledge and user satisfaction after being given digital education), so that there is an influence of digital education on the knowledge and satisfaction of using the Alodokter telemedicine application in Public Health students of Gorontalo State University. It is suggested that further research can develop other variables such as sustainable use interest, user trust or sustainability effectiveness

Abstract

Matcha is known to have a high content of bioactive compounds compared to regular green tea. This is because matcha is consumed in the form of a whole powder, so that all the compounds in tea leaves are also consumed. In Gorontalo City, matcha drinks are becoming more and more popular so KL, NK, and RHU were chosen as the sampling locations because they offer a variety of matcha products. The formulation of the problem in this study is what are the ingredients contained in matcha products in Gorontalo City. This study aims to identify and analyze the content contained in matcha products. This study uses a quantitative descriptive design to determine the content of matcha through phytochemical analysis. The study population included matcha drinks from 25 coffee shops and 8 street coffees in Gorontalo City, with samples taken from KL, RHU, and NK. The results showed that the RHU sample had the highest total phenol content of 209.34 mg GAE/g, followed by NK 184.64 mg GAE/g, and KL 149.30 mg GAE/g. The mean value of IC₅₀ showed that the antioxidant activity of RHU was very strong (34.87 ppm), strong NK (52.41 ppm), and moderate KL (109.32 ppm). In conclusion, KL, NK, and RHU matcha samples in Gorontalo City are still safe to consume based on their phenol content. The antioxidant activity of the KL sample is moderate, NK is strong, and RHU is very strong, it is recommended to consume matcha wisely and business actors need to pay attention to the quality of raw materials and processing processes to maintain the content of active compounds of the product.

Abstract

Malnutrition in toddlers is still one of the health problems that needs attention because it can affect children's growth and development. One of the efforts made to overcome this problem is through the Supplementary Feeding (PMT) program, either PMT Recovery or Counseling. Therefore, the formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is a relationship between maternal compliance, culture, and social environment with barriers to supplemental feeding (PMT) in undernourished toddlers in the working area of the Botupingge Health Center. This study aims to analyze the factors that hinder the provision of additional food (PMT) in undernourished toddlers in the working area of the Botupingge Health Center. This study uses quantitative research with an analytical observational method using a cross sctional design. The research sample amounted to 48 respondents who were determined by total sampling technique. Data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the Spearman Rank test. The results showed that most of the respondents had a fairly compliant level of the mothers category, the culture of the category was quite supportive, the social environment of the category was quite supportive, and the provision of PMT categories was quite good. The results of the Spearman's Rank Test analysis resulted in values of p=0.005 and r=0.399 for the maternal compliance variable, p=0.086 and r=0.251 for the cultural variable, and p=0.027 and r=0.318 for the social environment variable. The conclusion of this study shows that maternal compliance and the social environment are related to the administration of PMT in undernourished toddlers, while culture is not related to the administration of PMT. Therefore, the role of mothers and social environmental support are needed in supporting the provision of PMT to undernourished toddlers.
