Abstract

This study analyzes the role of virtual hijrah communities on Instagram as a medium for non-formal Islamic education through a case study of the @cewehijrah account. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis of six carousel feed posts and user responses, the research explores how digital da‘wah transformation facilitates flexible and participatory religious learning. Data were collected through documentation and contextual analysis of religious messages and digital community interactions. The findings indicate that @cewehijrah functions as a learning space that guides the spiritual transformation of young Muslim women through motivational narratives, aesthetic visuals, and contextualized hijrah experiences. This community encourages changes in worship practices, strengthens emotional resilience, and expands applied religious understanding. Social interactions demonstrate collective support that fosters psychological safety and reinforces spiritual commitment. The study affirms that virtual hijrah communities offer an adaptive model of non-formal Islamic education in the digital era and contribute to the formation of a transformative religious habitus. Future studies may further examine the structure of digital religious authority and learning dynamics within private community spaces.
