Abstract

Construction projects in the building sector frequently encounter scheduling deviations caused by supply chain disruptions or unforeseen technical constraints. In the case of the Inspectorate Building Construction Project of South Kalimantan Province—executed by PT. Megatama Karya with a contract value of Rp 19,000,000,000—a critical delay occurred during the pile driving phase, necessitating schedule acceleration. This study aims to analyze and optimize project duration and labor allocation by integrating schedule crashing and resource leveling methods, modeled using Microsoft Project 2016. The research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing secondary data comprising the Bill of Quantities (BOQ), work volume, and SNI-based labor coefficients. Three scheduling scenarios were simulated: (1) Normal (baseline), with project completion on March 9, 2026; (2) Crashing, with completion advanced to December 23, 2025, but resulting in extreme overallocation peaking at 110 unskilled laborers per day; and (3) Integrated Crashing + Leveling, which produced an optimal completion date of February 4, 2026—33 days earlier than the baseline—while maintaining labor demand within the contractor's maximum capacity of 55 unskilled laborers, 60 carpenters, 40 steel workers, and 15 masons. The integration of both methods proved effective in achieving time
