Abstract

The limited use of interesting and interactive learning media in learning to read and write the Koran at TPQ Al-Istiqomah Kedungpapar Sumobito Jombang causes students to be less motivated in the learning process. This research aims to develop hijaiyah flashcard media, test its feasibility, and analyze the effectiveness of its use in improving students' Al-Quran reading and writing skills. The research uses mixed research with the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D model which includes the define, design, development and disseminate stages. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation and tests on 20 students. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively, followed by normality tests and paired sample t-tests. The results of the research show that the hijaiyah flashcard media was successfully developed according to learning needs, obtained a very appropriate category based on the validation results of media experts, material experts and practitioners, and was effective in improving students' reading and writing Al-Quran skills. The effectiveness of the media is shown by an increase in the average pre-test score from 52.50 to 82.50 in the post-test with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). Thus, hijaiyah flashcard media is suitable for use as a learning medium to improve Al-Quran reading and writing skills at TPQ.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of interest and talent guidance through religious activities, the development of soft skill potential among santri, and the influence of such guidance on that development at the Bani Umar Putra Dormitory of the Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in Jombang. The study employs a quantitative approach using purposive sampling, supplemented by observation, interview, and documentation data to enrich the interpretation of statistical results. The study population consisted of 140 santri, with a sample of 35 first-year junior high school level (SLTP) students. Primary data collection was conducted using a Likert-scale questionnaire. Data analysis involved validity and reliability tests, percentage analysis, normality tests, and multiple linear regression using SPSS software. The results indicate that the santri's talent falls into the "good" category (80%), interest is "good" (79.89%), and soft skill potential is "good" (80.51%). The data followed a normal distribution, with Shapiro-Wilk significance values ??of 0.198 for talent (X1), 0.090 for interest (X2), and 0.147 for soft skill potential (Y). Multiple linear regression analysis yielded the equation Y = 0.216 + 1.284X1 + 0.289X2, with an F-value of 1858.206 and a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05); thus, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. It is concluded that interest and talent guidance through religious activities has a positive and significant influence on the development of soft skill potential among santri, particularly regarding self-confidence, communication skills, leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and discipline.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a valid, practical, and effective magic disc tajwid media to improve fourth-grade students’ understanding of the nun mati (nun sakinah) and tanwin rules in the Qur’an Hadith subject at MI Bustanul Ulum Brudu Sumobito, where learning had relied mainly on lecturing with limited practical tools. The study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) and a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design involving 18 fourth-grade students. Data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires, then analyzed descriptively. Expert validation showed the media was highly feasible, with an average validity score of 96,67%. The media was also rated highly practical, with an average practicality score of 93.25% based on teacher (96.22%) and student (85.30%) responses. The Magic Disc Tajwid media is thus declared valid, practical, and effective for teaching the nun mati and tanwin tajwid material in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.
