Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a gobak sodor game to enhance the children’s motoric in the age of 5-6 years old. The development model used was Borg and Gall which consisted of six-steps. The game developed was validated by the expert team. Small scale subjects were consisted of six children, and the large scale consisted of 15 children. The instrument used to collect the data was the observation sheet. The result of the study indicated that game experts score was 38 with an average of 4.7, with an "excellent" category, validation of material experts score was 29 with an average of 4.1 in "good" category. The observation result found that the value of pretest and posttest success rates was 41% (SD) and posstest 80% (VWD). The result of this study concluded that the development of gobak sodor game was worthy to use to improve the children’s motoric aged 5-6 years old.
