Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of poetry writing ability through the application of concept sentence model assisted by learning media in the form of interactive power point based on quiz. The research method used was classroom action research (CAR) with a research design using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model which was carried out in 3 cycles with a duration of 2 meetings in each cycle. The subjects in this study were 28 students of class IV-B SDN 01 Taman Madiun City. The object of this study is the students' ability to write poetry. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2023/2024 school year starting in February-April. Data collection techniques were conducted by interview, observation, written test, and documentation. The results of this study show that the scores obtained by students from poetry writing activities at the pre-cycle stage to the third cycle have increased. The percentage of completeness in the pre-cycle was 25% with an average score of 57.49; the percentage of completeness in the first cycle was 50% with an average score of 67.5; the percentage of completeness in the second cycle was 67.86% with an average score of 70.94; and the percentage of completeness in the third cycle was 85.72% with an average score of 85.27. In the third cycle, the percentage of completeness had exceeded the classical completeness indicator set (80%) and the average value obtained had reached the set completeness value (75).

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of Indonesiaku Kaya Budaya material by using flash card media for class IV students at SDN 01 Taman Madiun. The research method used is classroom action research through two cycles. The first cycle aims to evaluate student learning outcomes before using flash card media, while the second cycle aims to see an increase in learning outcomes after implementing flash card media. The results of the first cycle of research show that the use of flash card media has provided an increase in student learning outcomes. Achievement of test indicators, student activity and cooperation increased significantly compared to previous conditions. Even though the overall indicator target has not been achieved, there has been a positive increase in students' understanding of the material Indonesiaku Kaya Budaya. Furthermore, the results of cycle II research showed a more significant increase in student learning outcomes after implementing flash card media. Achievement of test indicators, student activity and cooperation exceeds the specified indicator targets. This shows that the use of flash cards as a learning medium is effective in increasing students' understanding of the material Indonesiaku Kaya Budaya. In conclusion, the use of flash card media has succeeded in improving the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 01 Taman Madiun in understanding the material Indonesiaku Kaya Budaya. Teachers and parties involved in education need to support the use of flash card media in learning and ensure the availability of the necessary resources. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of innovative and effective learning strategies and increase students' understanding of their cultural richness.

Abstract

Implementation of learning that applies the model contextual teaching and learning with approach culturally responsive teaching can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes. The learning process carried out integrates culture and relates the material in a real way to the surrounding environment so that the understanding gained is meaningful. The purpose of this research is to (1) describe the influence of learning models contextual teaching and learning with approach culturally responsive teaching on cognitive learning outcomes, (2) improving students' cognitive learning outcomes in science and science subjects with Indonesian Cultural Rich material. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with the type of classroom action research. This research uses a research design Kemmis and Mc. Teggart with 3 learning cycles, each cycle 2 meetings. The activities of each cycle include planning, action, observation and reflection activities. This research was carried out in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, February-April. The subjects of this research were students in class IV-C at SDN 01 Taman, Taman District, Madiun City with a total of 20 students consisting of 8 male students and 12 female students. The object of the research is the cognitive learning outcomes of class IV-C students. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The results of this research showed that there was a significant increase, namely in the pre-cycle by 60%, cycle 1 by 70%, cycle 2 by 75% and cycle 3 by 90%. Increasing learning outcomes is said to be successful if 80% of students have completed the learning objective achievement criteria (KKTP) of 75. Thus, the use of the learning model contextual teaching and learning with approach culturally responsive teaching can improve the cognitive learning outcomes of class IV-C students at SDN 01 Taman Kota Madiun.

Abstract

The research aims to examine whether the application of Polya's steps improves the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 01 Taman Kota Madiun on building materials. This research uses a type of action with the type of data used being quantitative and qualitative descriptive. Quantitative data is data regarding learning outcomes obtained through learning results tests, while qualitative data is data regarding student learning activities obtained through observation. The subjects in this research were 24 Class IV-A students at SDN 01 Taman Kota Madiun in the 2023/2024 academic year. The results of the research showed that in cycle I, only 10 students, or 41.67% completed individually and the average score was 61.25, while in cycle II 17 students, or 71% had completed the completion and average score. obtained was 73.79. Based on the results of this research, it was concluded that the application of a problem-solving approach in learning mathematics regarding building materials on cubes and blocks was proven to be able to improve student learning outcomes in class IV at SDN 01 Taman Kota Madiun
