The problem of learning the Human Respiratory System material in grade V of SDN Jajartunggal I Surabaya is that the teacher has not yet used innovative learning models such as Project Based Learning. This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in learning Science, specifically the Human Respiratory System material in grade V of SDN Jajartunggal I. The research problem in this study is whether implementing the Project Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes. The problem-solving in this research is by using the innovative Project Based Learning model. The purpose of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of grade V students of SDN Jajartunggal I Surabaya by implementing the Project Based Learning model. Collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted between researchers, observers, and the research subject, which were grade V students of SDN Jajartunggal I, consisting of 12 male students and 12 female students, totaling 24 students. This research process was carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 1 meeting lasting for 2 hours. The research consists of four main actions: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of this study indicate that: (1) mastery of Science learning about the respiratory system material can be achieved through PowerPoint media, with evidence of pre-cycle 50%, cycle I 65%, and cycle II 77%. The conclusion of this study is that implementing the Project Based Learning model can improve learning outcomes in Science, specifically the respiratory system material.
