This research aims to determine the effect of the guided inquiry learning model on students' scientific literacy abilities in class V science learning at SDN 28 Cakranegara. This research was conducted using a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design type. The subjects in this research were all class V students at SDN 28 Cakranegara which consisted of two classes, namely class V-A as a control class with a total of 27 students and class V-B as an experimental class with a number of 19 students. The scientific literacy abilities identified in this research include competency and scientific knowledge aspects. The data collection technique in this research uses a test in the form of 10 multiple choice questions and 5 questions in essay form (pretest and posttest). The data obtained were analyzed using the prerequisite test, namely the normality test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test with a significance level of 5% (0.05) and continued with the homogeneity test carried out using the Homogeneity of Variance test. Next, test of hypothesis using the independent sample t-test. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that scientific literacy skills with hypothesis testing at a significance level of 5% show t = 10,571 > t table = 1.67943 and a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.001 < 0.05 is obtained, so the null hypothesis (H0) rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. It means that there is an influence of the guided inquiry learning model on students' scientific literacy abilities in class V science learning at SDN 28 Cakranegara.
