This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 43 Ampenan in science subjects, with an average score below the KKM. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of the 5E learning cycle learning model on the science learning outcomes of fifth grade students on the material Properties of objects and changes in their form at SDN 43 Ampenan. The type of research used is Quasi Experimental type Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. This study used the entire population of class V SDN 43 Ampenan totaling 26 students. The sample in this study was class VA (26 students) as the experimental class, and class VB (26 students) as the control class. The data collection technique used was a written test in the form of multiple choice as many as 15 questions. The research instruments were multiple choice test sheets and observation sheets for the implementation of the learning model. The data analysis technique used in this study was parametric statistics. The results showed that the science learning outcomes of students in the experimental class (5E learning cycle model) had an average posttest score of 76.34. Meanwhile, the average value of the control class posttest was 67.34 in the Independent Sample t Test, the sig. (2-tailed) value was obtained 0.006 <0.05, so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the 5E learning cycle learning model on the science learning outcomes of grade V students on the material on the properties of objects and changes in their form at SDN 43 Ampenan in the 2023/2024 academic year.
