Abstract

This study aims to optimize the engagement of fifth-grade elementary school students through the development of an Augmented Reality (AR)-based Interactive Digital Storybook. Using the ADDIE model, this development went through the validation stages of materials, media, and language, and field trials. The results showed this medium was highly valid and practical to use. The use of AR technology was proven to significantly increase student enthusiasm and engagement in learning. It was concluded that this innovation is an effective immersive learning tool to encourage student activeness in the learning process.
