<![CDATA[Reading comprehension represents a critical literacy skill that must be cultivated in elementary school students, as it constitutes the cornerstone for knowledge acquisition across all academic disciplines. Nevertheless, a considerable number of primary-grade students continue to encounter substantial challenges in comprehending written texts, particularly when instruction relies exclusively on conventional pedagogical approaches. This study aims to examine and describe the implementation of animated video learning media as a strategy to enhance reading comprehension abilities among Grade III elementary school students. Employing a descriptive qualitative methodology, data were gathered through classroom observation, semi-structured interviews with teachers and students, and systematic documentation. Findings indicate that the integration of animated video media substantially elevated students' engagement, enthusiasm, and concentration during reading sessions. Students demonstrated markedly improved ability to grasp textual content compared to instruction conducted without visual media support. Furthermore, animated video facilitated more active student participation in classroom discussions and yielded greater accuracy in answering comprehension questions. These results affirm that animated video constitutes an effective and innovative instructional tool capable of meaningfully advancing reading comprehension competencies at the elementary school level.]]>
