Abstract

This study focused on the development of an interactive e-book with ecopedagogical content on the water cycle material for fifth-grade elementary school students in the IPAS subject. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE development model, which consists of Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The study was conducted in Cluster 1 of Gerokgak District. The subjects involved in this study included material experts, media experts, language experts, fifth-grade teachers, and fifth-grade students.The results of this study are as follows: (1) The interactive e-book with ecopedagogical content is an IPAS learning medium developed in the form of a digital flipbook integrating ecopedagogical elements through contextual presentation of water cycle materials, supported by text, images, audio, videos, and interactive activities. (2) The validity level of the interactive e-book with ecopedagogical content was categorized as very high, with material validity of 0.91, media validity of 0.84, and language validity of 0.99. (3) In the practicality testing stage, the average score obtained from teachers was 95%, while students achieved 93%, both categorized as very practical.This interactive e-book with ecopedagogical content is recommended as an effective learning medium to improve the quality of IPAS learning and foster students’ environmental awareness and concern from an early age.
