<![CDATA[ABSTRACT This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing and describing the low political representation of women at the village level, especially in Ampara'an Village, Kokop District, Bangkalan Regency, as well as identifying various factors that affect women's involvement in the village political process. This research is motivated by the lack of women's participation in various political activities, such as village deliberations, decision-making processes, and involvement in village government structures. The low participation is influenced by the strong patriarchal culture that develops in society, so that women are often considered to have less important roles in the political realm. In addition, the low level of political awareness, understanding, and education is also the cause of women's limited involvement in village political life. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to describe the conditions that occur in the field in depth. The data collection technique was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation by involving the village head, community leaders, and women of Ampara'an Village as research informants. The data obtained is then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that women's political involvement in Ampara'an Village is still passive. Women only attend village forums without playing an active role in conveying aspirations or influencing policies. This condition is influenced by internal and external factors, so political education, training, and village government support are needed so that women's participation can increase optimally.]]>
