Abstract

This study aims to analyze the construction of a teacher teamwork policy model based on Total Quality Management (TQM) in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SDIT Nur Muhammad, as well as to examine the role of teacher collaboration in improving the quality of learning. The research focuses on how Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation No. 12 of 2024 is implemented through teacher teamwork practices and its implications for the quality of education. This study employs a qualitative approach with a TQM-based educational management perspective, utilizing data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of teachers as the primary subjects. Data analysis was conducted in stages through reduction, presentation, and drawing of conclusions using a thematic approach. The research results indicate that the construction of a TQM-based teacher teamwork model develops through systematic collaboration in planning, implementing, and evaluating learning oriented toward continuous improvement, thereby impacting enhanced teacher performance, more innovative learning, and increased student engagement. Teacher teamwork has proven to be a strategic factor in bridging the gap between educational policy and learning practices in schools. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of the national education policy perspective with a teamwork-based quality management approach within the context of Islamic education, which positions teacher collaboration as central to improving the quality of learning.
