Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model assisted by Wordwall media on fifth-grade elementary school students’ mastery of mathematics material. This research was motivated by the low mastery of mathematics material among students, caused by monotonous learning methods and limited use of interactive media. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The population consisted of 53 fifth-grade students in Cluster I of Seririt District. The samples were selected through random sampling, resulting in SD Negeri 2 Joanyar as the experimental class and SD Negeri 1 Tangguwisia as the control class. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Data were analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, and independent t-test analysis. The results showed that the independent t-test produced a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and t-count 7.068 > t-table 1.675. Therefore, there was a significant effect of the Teams Games Tournament learning model assisted by Wordwall media on students’ mastery of mathematics material. The implementation of the TGT model created a more active, enjoyable, and meaningful learning atmosphere for students
