Abstract

The learning process by inviting students to play will give students happiness. If students feel happy, it will be easier to provide cool learning material. The existence of an independent curriculum also provides opportunities for teachers and students to always develop innovation in learning activities. This study aims to find out the application of the Discovery learning model assisted by snakesladders media in order to improve the learning outcomes of class IVB students at Elemntary School Number 1 Penatih. This study consists of two cycles, which is each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, action, observation/evaluation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 32 students of grade IVB Elementary School Number 1 Penatih. The object of this study is the result of the learning in topic 3. The method in collecting the data in this study is the test method of learning outcomes. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the average percentage of learning outcomes in topic 3 reaches 40% and classical completeness reaches 40%. After applying the Discovery learning model assisted by snakesladders media in cycle I, the average percentage of learning outcomes reached 65%, and classical completeness reached 65%. With the improvement in cycle II, the average percentage of students' Topic 2 learning outcomes increased to 90% and classical completeness reached 90%. This research will have implications for increasing activities and learning outcomes in class IVB SD Negeri 1 Penatih. Apart from that, it will also have a positive impact, namely the development of learning innovations, one of which is using snake and ladder media.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are essential for developing quality individuals, as mandated by Law No. 20 Year 2003. Effective learning should integrate material with the context of local wisdom. This study aims to design a valid and reliable critical thinking skills test incorporating science content oriented to Tri Hita Karana local wisdom for use in primary school education, particularly for fourth-grade students. This research adopts a development methodology based on the steps outlined by Borg and Gall. The process consists of seven stages, starting with research and information gathering and concluding with product revision. An extensive trial was conducted during the seventh stage to finalize a valid and reliable critical thinking skills test. The results indicate that the developed test, comprising 30 items, is both valid and reliable, with a reliability coefficient of 0.89, indicating a very high level of reliability. The study successfully created a critical thinking assessment tool that integrates science content with Tri Hita Karana local wisdom. In conclusion, this research contributes to the development of a robust critical thinking skills test for fourth-grade primary school students. By incorporating local wisdom, particularly Tri Hita Karana, into the learning process, the test promotes the integration of cultural context into education. This contribution is significant for enhancing the educational experience and fostering critical thinking among students.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pola asuh otoriter, demokratis dan permisif secara bersama-sama menunjukkan adanya hubungan dengan perkembangan nilai moral agama, sosial emosional, bahasa, kognitif dan fisik motorik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK Kuntala Dewi III Desa Abiansemal, Kecamatan Abiansemal Badung, dengan sampel sebanyak 42 siswa yang ada pada TK Kuntala Dewi III. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian hanya hipotesis utama tidak merinci lebih jauh pada bagian-bagian yang lebih kecil. Adapun hipotesis yang diajukan adalah terdapat hubungan secara bersama-sama antara pola asuh demokratis, otoriter, permisif dengan perkembangan nilai moral dan agama, perkembangan sosial emosional, perkembangan bahasa, perkembangan kognitif, perkembangan fisik. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan teknik korelasi kanonikal. Pengolahan data korelasi kanonikal dalam penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan program SPSS-16 for windows. Berdasarkan hasil anilisis data, maka dapat disimpulkan dua variabel dependen dan variabel independen memiliki hubungan yang signifikan. Dengan perkataan lain terdapat hubungan antara pola asuh otoriter, demokratis, dan permisif dengan perkembangan nilai moral, sosial emosional, bahasa, kognitif, dan fisik motorik jika dilakukan pengujian secara kelompok. Dari tiga variabel independen, ada satu variabel yang memiliki hubungan yang sangat tinggi yaitu pola asuh demokratis. Dengan demikian dapat diartikan pola asuh demokratis berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan moral agama, soasial emosional, bahasa, kognitif, dan fisik motorikKata Kunci: pola asuh, nilai agama moral, sosial emosional, bahasa, kognitif, fisik motorikABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine whether the authoritarian parenting, democratic and permissive together suggest a link with the development of moral values of religious, social, emotional, language, cognitive and physical motor. This research was conducted in kindergarten Kuntala Dewi III, Abiansemal Village, District Abiansemal Badung, with a sample of 42 students that exist in kindergarten Kuntala Dewi III. The hypothesis of the study is only the main hypothesis gave no further details on the portions smaller. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a relationship together between parenting democratic, authoritarian, permisive with the development of moral and religious values, social emotional development, language development, cognitive development, physical development. Research data analysis using canonical correlation techniques. Data processing canonical correlation in this study using SPSS 16 for windows. Based on the analysis of data it was inferred that the dependent variable and independent variables have a significant relationship. In other words, there is a relationship between the authoritarian parenting, democratic, and permsisif with the development of moral values, social, emotional, language, cognitive, physical and motor if the testing is done in groups. Of the three independent variables, there is one variable that have a very high that a democratic upbringing. Thus it can be interpreted democratic parenting influence on the moral development of religion, soasial emotional, language, cognitive, physical and motor.Keywords: parenting styles, religious values moral, social, emotional, language, cognitive, physical motor

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan setelahpenerapan metode pemberian tugas berbantuan media kartu bergambar pada kelompok B1 Semester I di TKSathya Sai Kumara Singaraja Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas(PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 15 anak kelompok B1 TK Sathya SaiKumara Singaraja Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatankemampuan membaca permulaan setelah penerapan metode pemberian tugas berbantuan media kartubergambar pada siklus I sebesar 66% yang berada pada kategori sedang, ternyata mengalami peningkatan padasiklus II menjadi 86% yang pada kategori tinggi. Jadi, peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak sebesar20%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode pemberian tugasberbantuan media kartu bergambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak.Kata Kunci : metode pemberian tugas, kartu bergambar, membaca permulaan, anak usia diniAbstractThis study aims to determine the improvement of initial reading skills after the application of the methodof assigning task-assisted picture cards to group B1 Semester I at Sathya Sai Kumara Singaraja Kindergarten inthe 2020/2021 Academic Year. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out intwo cycles. The subjects of this study were 15 children of group B1 TK Sathya Sai Kumara Singaraja in theacademic year 2020/2021. The results of data analysis showed that there was an increase in initial reading abilityafter the application of the picture card-assisted task assignment method in the first cycle by 66% which was inthe medium category, in fact it increased in the second cycle to 86% which was in the high category. So, theincrease in children's early reading ability is 20%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that theapplication of the method of assigning tasks assisted by picture cards can improve children's early reading skills.Keywords: assignment method, picture cards, early reading, early childhood,

Abstract

In response to global demands for 21st-century competencies, Indonesia has implemented the Merdeka Curriculum, while many internationalised schools adopt the Cambridge Curriculum. Both aim to foster scientific literacy but differ in philosophical foundations, curriculum structure, and pedagogical design. This study aims to compare the implementation of science education in these two curricula at SD Tunjung Sari, an SPK (Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama) school in Bali, to identify their respective strengths and inform future curriculum integration. Employing a qualitative design, data were collected through document analysis, semi-structured interviews, and classroom observations. The study focused on four key components: learning objectives, content, instruction, and assessment, using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. Findings indicate that the Merdeka Curriculum emphasises holistic development and contextual learning through project-based and Science–Technology–Society (STS) approaches. At the same time, the Cambridge Curriculum promotes inquiry-based learning with a structured, internationally benchmarked sequence. Although both curricula align with PISA’s scientific literacy domains, they differ in content scope and delivery. The study recommends a hybrid model that integrates global standards with local values to enhance science education in diverse contexts. This can support policymakers and educators in designing future-ready curricula that are both globally competitive and culturally rooted.

Abstract

Karakteristik utama dari kurikulum ini yang mendukung pemulihan pembelajaran adalah fokus pada materi esensial sehingga pembelajaran lebih mendalam, waktu lebih banyak untuk pengembangan kompetensi dan karakter melalui belajar kelompok seputar konteks nyata (Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila). Capaian pembelajaran per fase dan jam pelajaran yang fleksibel mendorong pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan relevan dengan kebutuhan pelajar dan kondisi satuan pendidikan. Modul ajar dalam konteks Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan bahan pembelajaran yang dirancang secara sistematis dan komprehensif untuk mendukung implementasi kurikulum yang berfokus pada pengembangan kompetensi peserta didik. Modul ajar Kurikulum Merdeka menekankan pada pembelajaran berbasis proyek (project-based learning) dan pembelajaran berbasis masalah (problem-based learning). Peserta didik dihadapkan pada situasi atau masalah nyata yang harus dipecahkan melalui kegiatan proyek atau penyelidikan. Pendampingan ini akan membantu guru dalam mengatasi berbagai kendala yang mungkin dihadapi, serta memberikan umpan balik yang konstruktif untuk perbaikan pembelajaran di masa depan. Peserta dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini berjumlah 25 orang yang berasal dari beberapa sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Nusa Penida, Kabupaten Klungkung.
