Abstract

This study aims to analyze the types of teacher difficulties and the level of teacher difficulty in creating Phase B science and natural science learning media in East Pontianak Public Elementary Schools. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey research type. The subjects of the study were 30 teachers of East Pontianak Public Elementary Schools. Data collection was conducted using a Likert scale questionnaire 1–4 covering six aspects, namely science and natural science knowledge, technology and communication skills, availability of resources and facilities, time and workload management, suitability and needs of students, and collaboration and feedback. Data analysis was carried out by calculating the minimum, maximum, average (mean), and standard deviation values and grouping the level of difficulty based on category intervals. The results showed that in general the level of teacher difficulty in creating Phase B science and natural science learning media was in the not difficult category. The research findings indicate that, overall, the level of difficulty experienced by teachers in creating IPAS learning media for Phase B falls into the "not difficult" category. This is reflected in the average scores across each aspect, which range from 1.00 to 1.74. The study concludes that teachers' level of difficulty is relatively low, demonstrating sufficient competence to innovate IPAS media without significant obstacles.
