Abstract

This study discusses the audio content production strategy implemented in the “Sarapan Seru” program on Jak 101 FM. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews and participatory observation. Interviews were conducted with the program producer as the main source of information regarding the broadcast production process, while observations were carried out by directly participating in production activities to gain a deeper understanding of audio content management. The results showed that the audio content production strategy was implemented through the development of four main features, namely SEMANGKA as a motivational segment, SIKAT as a children’s educational segment, KITAP as an educational and informational segment for adults, and Salah Dengar as an entertainment segment. Audio content management was carried out through program planning, segment arrangement, the use of bumpers, background music, sound effects, and direct interaction with listeners to create interesting and non-monotonous content variations. This strategy was able to increase listener engagement, strengthen the program identity, and maintain broadcast quality in both technical and content aspects.
