Abstract

This study was conducted to address various issues in soccer games observed among seventh-grade students. The primary issue was a lack of teamwork in soccer games. The objective of this study was to analyze the impact of deep learning based on small-sided games. The research design employed a pre-experimental design in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest study using quantitative methods. The sample consisted of 40 seventh-grade students from a junior high school. The results of this study show that the pre-test average was 83.38, while the post-test average reached 104.33. Thus, teamwork in soccer improved by 87%, which falls into the effective category. This indicates that the use of a deep learning approach based on small-sided games in soccer is effective in improving students’ teamwork.
