<![CDATA[This research aimed to describe the implementation of the Edu Card game as a teaching medium for fractions, to describe students' conceptual understanding of fractions, and to determine the effect of using the Edu Card game on fourth-grade students' understanding of fraction concepts at SD Inpres Pare’-Pare’, Gowa Regency. This quantitative study used a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group. The population comprised all fourth-grade students at the school; the sample consisted of 29 students in the experimental group and 29 in the control group, selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation sheets on the implementation of the Edu Card game and student learning outcome tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Descriptive results indicated that the implementation of the learning process using the Edu Card game was rated “very good” for both the first and second meetings. The experimental group showed greater improvement in fraction concept understanding than the control group, supported by higher average Posttest scores in the experimental group. The study concludes that: (1) the learning process using the Edu Card game was very good, (2) test results indicate an increase in students' understanding of fraction concepts, and (3) the use of the Edu Card game had a positive effect on fourth-grade students' understanding of fraction concepts at SD Inpres Pare’-Pare’, Gowa Regency.]]>
