<![CDATA[The use of standard language in Indonesian language learning at elementary school plays an important role in developing students’ communication skills according to proper language rules. However, students still frequently use nonstandard language in daily learning activities. Therefore, teachers utilize card media as a supporting learning tool. This study aims to describe the implementation of standard language use assisted by card media, the supporting and inhibiting factors, and its impact on third-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Tembuku Bangli. This study applied constructivism, humanistic, and behavioristic theories. The research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The subjects of this study were the third-grade teacher and students of SD Negeri 1 Tembuku Bangli. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of standard language use assisted by card media was carried out through the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The use of card media helped students become more active and understand the use of standard language more easily. Supporting factors included students’ enthusiasm and teacher creativity, while inhibiting factors included the influence of regional languages and students’ habits of using nonstandard language. The implementation also showed impacts in which students became more accustomed to using standard language and more confident in communication.]]>
