Abstract

This research aims to explore the meaning-making of the Bible by high school students through the "From Verse to Life" mechanism, its supporting factors, and the role of Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers. This study uses a Descriptive Qualitative method with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach and the PRISMA 2020 protocol to analyze 15 scientific articles from Google Scholar, Garuda, and Neliti using thematic analysis. The results reveal that understanding the Bible is a dynamic process encompassing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor dimensions that significantly influence students' character and spirituality formation. Internal supporting factors include critical thinking and the search for identity, while external factors include the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka), creative learning methods, and digital accessibility. A found challenge is the shift in the meaning of sanctity regarding digital Bible media, which potentially weakens the depth of message integration. PAK teachers are proven to play a central role as guides bridging biblical texts with students' real-life contexts. In conclusion, integrating sacred texts into actual life requires a combination of personal spiritual discipline, innovative educational system support, and contextual educator guidance.
