Abstract

This study explores the challenges teachers face in shaping students' character in the era of globalization, as well as practical approaches to address them. Key challenges include the negative impact of media on students' decision-making, the moral crisis caused by an unsupportive social environment, and teachers' lack of time due to administrative and curricular responsibilities. In this regard, the role of teachers as mentors and substitute parents in character development is crucial. The purpose of this study is to find strategies for fostering students' moral character through teaching. The approach used is a qualitative, literature-based study that examines various materials, including books and journals. The research findings indicate that globalization presents both challenges and opportunities for education, particularly in terms of improving the quality of human resources with competitive skills and character. To become a teacher, you need to possess four core competencies: pedagogical, professional, social, and personality. In addition, you must be able to keep up with technological developments. The combination of technology and new teaching techniques has proven essential for producing engaging, creative, and relevant teaching. In conclusion, the key to developing superior student character in the global era is the use of technology and improving teacher competency.
