This research is based on facts about the increasing of Islamic boarding school for early age students. Does the existence of the increase can be an institution that can accommodate the development of the mental of children? As a golden age, early ages become a very strategic entrance to the continuing of children education in the stage of elementary school to the next stages. To determine the level of effectiveness, it certainly depends on many factors, among which is the method that is applied by the manager of the boarding school. This study aims to explore and analyze the implementation of the habituation method to the early age students in Islamic Boarding School of Salafiyah, Proto, Kedungwuni, Pekalongan Regency. To uncover the data comprehensively, the researchers applied a qualitative approach, referring to the standard of field research. The source of data is obtained from the caretaker, teachers, and the representative of early age students randomly, through interviews, observations, and documentation study. To examine the validity of data, the researchers use triangulation of source of data, observation and theories. The technique of analyzing data is conducted through reduction, display, and verification of data. The results of the research showed that the application of the habituation method in daily activities for early age students emphasize on amaliyah diniyah yaumiyah. The habituation of students prioritizes daily ethics, taking ablution, praying in congregation, reciting the Koran, daily prayers, and maintaining cleanliness. However, the habituation has not concerned the cognitive domain in a standardized manner as the cognitive instructions are handed over to schools where students study formally; the boarding school is paid more attention to the affective and psychomotor domains. Their habitual characteristics take place naturally without any obvious standards. As a boarding school of early age students of Salafiyah, the students are more directed at habituation to live in the family as is usual. While the caretaker and teachers have run optimally like their parents themselves.

AbstractThis study concerned group of Indonesian EFL learners’ perceptions regarding the use of Indonesian (L1) and English language (L2) by their teachers in the classroom. In particular, the study aimed to unravel how these learners perceived the use of their L1 and L2 during the course of English instruction in the classroom and how their perceptions might have been shaped by different aspects of “identity construction” to which they were oriented. Data were gathered through administering a questionnaire to one hundred seventy-three adult Indonesian EFL learners. Analysis of the learners’ responses suggested that they maintained different perceptions with regard to the use of their L1 and L2 and that their perceptions may be subsumed into two broad categories, each of which reflects the differences in their perceptions. Factors that might have affected the learners’ perceptions were then critically discussed in the light of identity theory in the context of L2 pedagogy. In particular, the theory suggests that different aspects of identity construction to which learners are oriented affect their perceptions of the use of theirL1 and L2 in the classroom. Further, these different aspects of identity construction may also affect how learners are likely to respond to the use of an L1 and L2 in the classroom (and beyond).Keywords: English as a foreign language (EFL), language use, identity theory in L2 pedagogy

Abstract This study aims to determine the implementation of standardization and certification sports Competencies. Research carried out in several places, namely at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the office of the Central KONI, and the Office of National Accreditation Institute Sport (LANKOR) This research uses descriptive method. The instrument used is in the form of guidelines for observation, interview and documentation guidelines so that the analysis of data used is descriptive and qualitative analysis. This study concludes that weak management systems implementation of standardization and certification, standardization Synergy implementing agencies, accreditation and certification are still not optimal because the functions and authority of the implementing agencies are still ambiguous. The study also concluded the lack of understanding society sports personality of the implementation of standardization, and certification Competence in sports because it is not supported by a consistent system of accreditation. UKK KSR PMI Unit IAIN Pekalongan has implemented one of the work programs of the Infokom (Information and Communication) Division, namely Webinar Management Training with participants representing members of each division of UKK KSR PMI Unit IAIN Pekalongan. Webinar Management Training is conducted to provide training to administrators so that they can and know what webinar management is and how to do it. In this event, there were two learning discussions presented by Adhi Bagus Wijarnako and Muhammad Fauzan. The first theory was explained by Adhi Bagus Wijarnako who explained how to make certificates and additional applications used to reproduce the certificate such as the PDF Split Merge application. Before the activity started, participants were given application links and what files were needed in making the certificate. Furthermore the second theory was presented by Muhammad Fauzan regarding the management of the Zoom Meeting application. The provision of facilities in the form of an access link for the operation of making certificates has been prepared before the event begins. Then it was continued with a discussion on making certificates and procedures for managing the Zoom Meeting application. The purpose of holding this event is so that the management and members of UKK KSR PMI Unit IAIN Pekalongan can know and operate the Zoom Meeting application management and procedures for making certificates. The method used is a direct method and a description of each presentation. With this Webinar Management Training activity, it is hoped that the management and members of UKK KSR PMI Unit IAIN Pekalongan can find out new understandings as technology develops and can be applied in various other activities.

The purpose of this paper is to map the role of Indonesia in facing the competition in the era of asean economic community. This idea motivated by a certainty that as a great nation, Indonesia should have a variety of strategies in playing its role to become a nation that has a significant role.The author seeks to explore the roles that can be played by Indonesia in the enforceability of the ASEAN economic community. However, theimplementation of Asean economic community has an implication on the education system in Indonesia. It takes a variety of strategies that should be pursued by the Indonesian government to exist in the competition arena of asean economic community. One of the strategies is to implement knowledge based economy in facing asean economic community. The way to apply it is through good quality of education system, at least the strategy reffers to 4 recommendations from Unesco to the fulfillment of 8 national education standards, because education as a strategic means to establish a characterless human resource. The availability of characterless generation would be one of Indonesiaâ€™s strengths and leverages to compete in the era ofAsean Economic Community.

Madrasah Curriculum Development Based on Pondok Pesantren Through Collaborative Model M Muhlisin; Muhammad Fajar

The purpose of this research is to reveal the process of madrasah curriculum development based on pondok pesantren at MA Al-Ishlah Sendangagung Paciran Lamongan Jawa Timur that consists of curriculum planning, curriculum implementing, and curriculum evaluating. The type of this research was field research and using content analysis techniques. The results of this research summarized that madrasah curriculum development based pondok pesantren should be done by various stages: (1) Curriculum planning carried out by formulating the curriculum content with balanced between general science and religious subjects. (2) Curriculum implementation was combined between MORA, MEC, and KMI curricula, the scopes of the subjects matter in the curriculum were developed more details in religious studies and life skills. (3) Curriculum evaluation implemented based on the achievement of learning outcomes and the attitude of students. (4) Madrasah curriculum development based on pondok pesantren at MA Al-Ishlah Sendangagung Paciran Lamongan Jawa Timur called â€œCollaborative Curriculum Modelsâ€.

ABSTRAK Asam urat adalah salah satu penyakit yang sering terjadi pada lansia. Penanganan asam urat yang tidak tepat dapat menyebabkan kerusakan sendi yang progresif, deformitas, disabilitas, dan kematian. Adapun upaya untuk mengurangi nyeri sendi adalah dengan terapi non farmakologi dengan menggunakan berbagai macam metode seperti senam, stretching, dan pemberian latihan rentang gerak aktif. Senam ergonomik merupakan salah satu senam yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi nyeri sendi pada lansia yang menderita asam urat. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan senam ergonomik bagi penderita asam urat agar untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan dapat melakukan senam ergonomik secara mandiri di rumah agar terhindar dari kekakuan sendi yang mengakibatkan nyeri sendi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini memberikan edukasi tentang asam urat dan senam ergonomik. Adapun penyampaian materi pengetahuan menggunakan metode ceramah dan Tanya jawab sedangkan senam ergonomik menggunakan metode demonstrasi dan simulasi. Sasaran kegiatan adalah penderita asam urat yang berusia > 40 Tahun yang terdata di Puskesmas Talang Betutu dan masuk wilayah kelurahan Talang Betutu Kota Palembang berjumlah 20 orang. Kuesioner pre-test dan post-test diberikan untuk mengevaluasi peningkatan pengetahuan peserta. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu adanya peningkatan pengetahuan disertai keterampilan tentang senam egonomik bagi responden khususnya serta bagi seluruh masyarakat Kecamatan Talang Betutu Kota Palembang secara umum. Diharapkan kegiatan pengabdian dapat dikembangkan di beberapa kelurahan lainnya di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Talang Betutu dan masyarakat mampu melakukan senam ergonomik secara mandiri di rumah. Kata Kunci: Senam Ergonomik, Asam Urat, Lansia ABSTRACT Gout is a disease that often occurs in the elderly. Improper handling of uric acid can cause progressive joint damage, deformity, disability, and death. The effort to reduce joint pain is non-pharmacological therapy using various methods such as gymnastics, stretching, and active range of motion exercises. Ergonomic gymnastics is one exercise that can be done to reduce joint pain in the elderly who suffer from gout. The purpose of this community service is to introduce ergonomic exercises for gout sufferers in order to increase knowledge and be able to do ergonomic exercises independently at home to avoid joint stiffness, which causes joint pain. The method used in this activity provides education about gout and ergonomic exercises. The delivery of knowledge material uses the lecture and question and answer methods, while ergonomic exercises use demonstration and simulation methods. The target of the activity was gout sufferers aged > 40 years who were recorded at the Talang Betutu Health Center and entered the Talang Betutu sub-district area of Palembang City, totaling 20 people. Pre-test and post-test questionnaires were given to evaluate the increase in participants' knowledge. The results obtained showed an increase in knowledge accompanied by skills about egonomic gymnastics for the respondents in particular and for the whole community of Talang Betutu District, Palembang City, in general. It is hoped that service activities can be developed in several other sub-districts in the working area of the Talang Betutu Health Center and that the community will be able to do ergonomic exercises independently at home. UKK KSR PMI IAIN Pekalongan Unit is a Special Activity Unit at IAIN Pekalongan tertiary institutions which is based on PMI Pekalongan City. Education and training for KSR members in addition to producing members who are qualified in the field of red cross and other supporting knowledge. An organization requires regeneration, restructuring and also the dissemination of knowledge or skills possessed by the previous generation to the generations below. To produce competent members, one of the supporting work programs is education of volunteers. In the education of volunteers, there are three types of training, namely planning learning devices, introduction of facilitators and fieldwork. Each of the three trainings has its own division. The method used is the ABCD method. ABCD method or Asset Based Communities Development (ABCD) is a model approach in community development. The results obtained are that the education of volunteers can increase the knowledge of the volunteers, improve the skills of members and build camaraderie and build chemistry between division members. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa upaya formalisasi pendidikan pesantren yang dilaksanakan pada beberapa pesantren di Kota Pekalongan dengan orientasi "setengah hati", tidak diikuti pendirian lembaga pendidikan formal, justru berdampak negatif terhadap perkembangan pesantren. Sebaliknya, jika diikuti dengan pendirian lembaga pendidikan formal seperti MTs dan MA maka berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan pesantren secara kondusif. Formalisasi pesantren juga berdampak terhadap pergeseran pola kepemimpinan pesantren, dari kepemimpinan individu ke kepemimpinan kolektif yayasan; dari sistem pendidikan tradisional ke sistem pendidikan persekolahan; dari kurikulum kitab kuning oriented ke kurikulum integrative; dan dari metode tradisional salafi yang kyai oriented (weton, sorogan, hapalan, ceramah) ke metode student oriented (diskusi, resitasi, problem solving, kerja kelompok) dan lain-lain. Yang menarik, ketika pesantren-pesantren yang diteliti memformalisasikan pendidikannya, kurikulum pesantren salaf yang berbasis kitab kuning tetap dipertahankan, sedangkan ilmu umum hanya dijadikan pendukung ilmu agama yang ada di kurikulum salaf. Ilmu umum dipandang sebagai kebutuhan/tantangan modernisasi pendidikan.

Melalui pengabdian ini, kami akan mengeksplorasi potensi dan manfaat penggunaan Duolingo dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris pariwisata berkelanjutan. Penulis telah menganalisis efektivitas aplikasi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa Inggris peserta didik dan bagaimana aplikasi ini dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam kurikulum pendidikan pariwisata serta dapat dipraktikan secara langsung ketika sudah memasuki dunia kerja. Hasil dari pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan baru dan rekomendasi praktis belajar bagi pendidik dan institusi pendidikan dalam mengoptimalkan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris pariwisata melalui teknologi digital. Metode yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan sosialisasi yang mana diberikan stimulus untuk saling berbagi informasi dan memberikan solusi untuk kendala yang saat ini dihadapi serta memberikan ulasan (umpan balik) untuk mengetahui hasil dari pemberian sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Dengan adanya pelaksanaan pengabdian, masyarat setempat dan anak usia sekolah mendapatkan perbedaan dalam pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi dan tidak menggunakan aplikasi. Ketika belum mengenal aplikasi duolingo, siswa merasakan kendala dalam kecakapan bahasa inggris terutama kosa kata dalam istilah pariwisata dan dengan beriringnya waktu aplikasi sudah diperkenalkan maka berasa lebih efisien, tidak terlalu menghabiskan banyak waktu, biaya yang dikeluarkan juga cukup murah selain itu dengan aplikasi duolingo bisa diakses dimanapun berada tidak harus di dalam ruang kelas atau berada di lingkup pendidikan formal maupun informal, di rumah juga bisa menggunakan aplikasi duolingo.
