<![CDATA[English from an early age in the globalization era, which is unfortunately hindered by students' low interest in learning due to conventional, monotonous, and teacher-centered teaching styles. Based on preliminary observations at SDN 2 Margawati, English learning activities were heavily dominated by one-way lecturing, causing students to be passive, unfocused, and unenthusiastic. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of the teacher's teaching style on students' learning interest in English subjects among fourth and fifth-grade students at SDN 2 Margawati. The research method employed is a quantitative method with a causal associative approach. The population of this study includes all fourth and fifth-grade students at SDN 2 Margawati. Sampling was conducted using a saturated sampling or purposive sampling technique tailored to the analytical needs in the field. Data collection was carried out using closed-ended questionnaire instruments utilizing a Likert scale to measure the Teacher's Teaching Style variable (X) and the Students' Learning Interest variable (Y), supplemented by observation and documentation. Prior to deployment, the instruments were evaluated through validity and reliability tests. Data analysis techniques involve descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Classical assumption tests, including normality and linearity tests, were carried out as prerequisites before hypothesis testing. Hypothesis testing was executed using simple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination (R2), and partial T-test assisted by IBM SPSS Statistics software. The findings of this study are expected to provide theoretical and practical contributions for schools and teachers to diversify teaching styles to boost students' interest and active engagement in foreign language learning at the elementary school level.]]>
