Abstract

This study aimed to describe the development process, determine the validity, and assess the practicality of an Augmented Reality-based flipbook oriented toward the Tat Twam Asi values for the Ecosystem Harmony topic in Grade V elementary school science and social studies (IPAS). The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Qualitative data were collected through observations, interviews, and expert suggestions, while quantitative data were obtained from validation and practicality questionnaires. The study was conducted in Grade V of Cluster VII, Sawan District, from January to May 2026. The results showed that the Augmented Reality-based flipbook oriented toward Tat Twam Asi values was successfully developed by integrating text, images, animations, and three-dimensional object visualizations. The product achieved a very valid category, with media, material, and language validation scores of 0.93, 0.94, and 0.95, respectively. The practicality test also indicated a very practical category, with teacher and student response percentages of 96% and 97%, respectively. Therefore, the developed flipbook is feasible for use as a learning medium in Grade V IPAS learning because it meets excellent validity and practicality criteria and supports more interactive and meaningful learning.
